Pastor Brett you are not long winded. I could listen to you for hours and hours. I am 55 and was not brought up in strong Christian home, But I have always felt God in my heart and throughout my adult life have both gone to church at times and other times I have not gone to church. Back in December of 2019 just before Covid hit I made a commitment to myself to read the Bible front to back in a year beginning January 1st 2020. I managed to complete that goal with the help of an app. I proceeded to read the Bible front to back again in 2021 and I am currently in 1 Corinthians and on my way to read it again front to back for 2022. I get up every morning at 4:00 and do my Bible reading before I go to work each day and even though I have read it before I continue to discover and learn from my reading every day. My job is a School Custodian and I have an area to clean every morning for the first 90 minutes of my shift and I listen to your sermons, your prophecy updates, and your iron teachings through my earbuds during that time. Thank you for your truthful teachings and May God continue to bless you and Athey Creek. I hope one day to be able to visit the west coast and partake live in one of your services. That being said you are spot on about setting aside time daily to read the Bible and I plan on reading the Bible every year for the rest of my life. 🙏

As a former SoCal mom of 2 who were greatly involved in vball, and went onto play in college, I was forever grateful for a wonderful church we went to that offered Sat eve services. Our girls knew during club season that Sat eve were church 1st and then they could do dinner, movies w/their friends. Bless you for this for parents & others... God blessed us beyond measure with these Sat eve opportunities when needed. May you & your congregation be richly blessed. 🙏

I guess I was fortunate that the person who lead me to the Lord back in 1974, got me grounded in reading the Bible everyday. It's really not that hard to read 1 chapter a day. (If it's one of the REALLY long chapters just read maybe half or so, and mark your place.) You'll be surprised at how much knowledge you'll acquire, and how God will bring it to your remembrance when wittnessing either in person or on an online forum. (Wittnessing is a great motivator for reading.) I've come across plenty of unbelivers who try to end the discussion by saying they've read the Bible. So I bring up something out of it and they always come back with, "That's not in there!" Oh, yes it is, and I show them.😛

As long as it's done in love, and not with a prideful tone, I can see the way that could come in handy. We need to be a sweet aroma of life giving sustenance to those who are being saved, and the stench of rotting death to those who are perishing, driving the from the fear of the Lord to the rescuing Word of the Son of God for salvation. (all Bible references are paraphrased)

I would like to comment on your singers praise music. Some of the most moving music I have heard. You have a very good collection of men and women singers. I love to listen to any one of them. I especially like the voice of the young man with dirty blonde hair and glasses, and he plays the guitar nicely too. He gives a genuine impression of being worshipful while he performs. Do you know that I mean? Some musicians who play at churches seem more like they're practicing for a gig later on, and they don't give me a sense of worship as much as they want applause.

The Romans Road seems to have gotten longer, isn't that like them Romans! Haha! I have 3:23, 6:23, and 10:9 marked in my Bible....Well you got me to look and realize that I haven't picked up the Word in .....well too, too long. I have missed out on a lot of joy that I could have had by just spending a little time in His Word. I have it layed out on my table and pray He gives me thirst for His word above and beyond, but also with my coffee in the AM

Pastor Brett, I couldn't help but notice the, 1/4 or 25%, ratio in this parable that you've previously mentioned, in regard to "the few" who enter in at the narrow gate, that leads to eternal life. Could this be a scriptural conformation?
