You're right about lat pulldown. I trained lat pulldown thinking it'll transfer over, surprisingly I got to my bodyweight. But then when I went to try some pull ups, got 3 reps (2 reps if you don't count the little jump to get onto the bar at the start) 😭

But if you do pull ups you can max out your lat pulldowns machine like me i started from 0 pull ups to now 7 in a row clean one

Bruh I can’t even lift myself up I’ve been grinding out the lat pull-down and assisted chin ups. Should I just focus solely on the assisted chin ups so I can eventually do a pull up? Edit: there’s different positions you can grip on the assisted chin up machine so I have more of wide grip not close grip to target my back and to assimilate a pull up
@oscar535

@@kermitatsubway9113assisted pull up machine is just like lat pulldown, it doesn't transfer to real pull ups or chin ups. Mainly because it doesn't activate your core

Reduce protein intake and eat about 2.5-3 grams of carbs per pound of bodyweight so you'll have much more intense workouts. Make sure you eat enough fat to get into calorie maintenance/surplus to have higher testosterone levels and that's diet for you. Let’s break this down First exercise you’re using baby weight if you actually use real weight the erectors would be limiting factor you’re better off doing pendlay row . Second exercise amazing . Third exercise pretty good (seated is better can use more weight ) . Fourth exercise good but idk why you obsess over posture . Fifth exercise good. Sixth exercise superset is bad your grip gonna fatigue which will hurt the amount of weight you can use better off doing them separately. Seventh exercise is junk volume at this point . Eighth exercise is good and good cues aswell. Work out rating 9 out of ten !
