No anomalies in lane assignments per IAAF Rule 166. Beram did an exemplary job having to run in lane 7 without any reference. Lich and Sunthontuam used Beram as reference here. But notice how Beram "appeared to have waited" for runners to come out of the bend as if trying to measure how much more efforts should he be exerting to launch an assault at the straight - great strategy!
