Great video. Really good (and a bit unusual) to see what the trails are like winter. This really helps with route planning for my winter trip to Scotland as does the Strava map. Love yer work!

Going for a ride today up Atholl Hill today, never ridden the trails up there so coming back to re-watch this. Such a handy resource, very glad you made this. Going to put the rider-m I got off you to good use as well. 👍

I'm glad you agree that last section is steep ......I rode it a couple of months ago and I couldn't believe it .Brilliant spot . Thanks for the vids .

It looks great but I prefer the gimbal footage and of course the low angle of the chesty mount. Nice frozen trails and riding skills. Best all, Remus

Nice video! The stabilization is mad good, you're making me want to buy a Hero6 haha...

No worries! Yeah i'm tempted to wait a couple more months for the price to come down, as £499 is a bit steep for a camera with terrible audio... Would definitely be interesting to compare the two cameras with the GoPro in linear mode! Thanks boss, same to you!

cracking vids, wish we had some decent wooded trails like this in the peak district, cracking sections and steep! loving your vids dude

its like all the stuff up golfie, Scotland really does have it all, then loadsa rocky epics when you want too....love these sort of twisty tight loamy tracks though, we have a few but they become absolutely crap in winter, its not like the trails in Scotland that are some what sure footed underneath with a bit of rock etc, the ones by us are literally just slip sliding loam then mud and nothing else :(

haha awesome, by far the best UK based POV channel id say, love the trails and all the perfect amount of time on video (circa 10mins), really is great fun, and inspires me to head up, ive seen some of the golfie vids, so cant wait see you hit them in the summertime when its dry perhaps

No worries man, keep up the good work, they are cracking videos, probs the ones I can most relate to on here, your like the Scottish version of BKXC, but with realistic trails that most of us ride etc (his are all amazing moab et al, that we can only dream of :( )....

Great videos! Scotland looks beautiful! Greeting from Slovenia

Yep there is. But i havent done it yet. Been roadie for a long time. I just ordered Orbea Rallon R5. So from March on ill be doing plenty! Also i noticed sometimes image got ?blurry? from stabilisation? Otherwise it looks quite well stabilised and watchable. One Slovenian trail. Not my recording :) kzbin.info/www/bejne/mX2snoWcibimask

Well. As much as it is good with the stabilisation, I think you should just stick with gimbal :). Too bad though that new Hero cameras record souch a bad sound

Love the video. See the road you crossed half way down is that the road you use to access the top of the trails?. Cheers

Stabilization off is good, gimbal is better. With the stabilization on it's okay on a smaller screen (iphone or tablet), but on a bigger screen it looks like jello, especially when going through the rougher sections.

Stabilisation on mate but still ok with out . Good riding as always talk about spoilt for choice mate trails are amazing . Keep up with what you are doing .in my opinion you up there with bkxc . Single track sampler etc etc just keep it real from England 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧

McTrail Rider I second that bkxc comment. Its not so much about the trails, but getting to know you and following your story. Maybe you could form a comedy double act with the lad you went to hamsterly with. Keep it up mate.

Great stabalization, who needs a gimbal, awesome vid. subbed :-) ps, it's not bad with the stabalization off to be fair.

Personally I prefer the footage with the image stabilisation off, it gives it more of a sense of speed and picks up more of the movement of the bike, the footage is still quality.
@carlpilbeam52166 жыл бұрын
To be honest mate i now look forward more to your videos as I think bkxc as gone more into a show than keeping it real although he is still good in my opinion you are better now 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧

so that's what it looks like in daylight. stabilization works quite well, better than the 5. Do you think the footage appears slower when using a chest gimbal compared to the helmet mount?
