Pipes and Drums are always a very emotional sound. Iv,e been to the Edinburgh Military Tattoo in 2011 when my Dad was still alive, he used to like the sound of the Massed pipes and drums. They made him get really upset because he had mates that where from Scotland and some of them had passed away. When he heard the sound of the Massed pipes and drums the memories of he's mates came flooding back to him.

The Kilworth Hills are in Ireland in County Cork. The tune was written when Pipe Major of Gordon Highlanders was stationed there. Kilworth Ranges are still an Irish Army base.
