DIY hand painted tiles

This is a great idea. I didn't know the tiles could be baked in my oven without using a kiln. In Bush Gardens Virginia in the French Quarter we used to go to a Ceramics Gift Shop where you could paint your own pieces. They also had those white tiles to paint if you like. They kiln fired the pieces & shipped them to your address. I did that a zillion times because I'm a coaster 🎢 chicken, ha!!

Was the finish shiny on the tiles after they were baked? How did they hold up? This is a neat idea. :)

Can you clean them and the paint remains intact? Is the paint raised?
