Hi! SW group member here! I think you explained things very well! The only thing I would add which can be extremely important to most peoples weightloss... It's true that you can eat free and speed food without weighing and with no limit but your appetite. There is a guideline SW offer for portioning. They reccomend everyone fills AT LEAST a third of their plate with speed food. And to reach for speed (before anything else) between meals. Some people can lose purely on free food but everyone will have better losses with 1/3 speed and 2/3 free food. It's called speed because it "speeds up your weightloss". Great video well explained . The Slimming world books and meetings can be a little confusing when you first start but this video gets you up and running and with the shopping list it helps set up your first week of planning. Keep these video's coming they will definitely keep me on track. 😉

Great video & explanation but I think the syns for the popcorn may be wrong - depending on the size of bag the sw app is saying between 4 and 4 1/2. Or maybe this bag is smaller - would love to think it is and I'll go and get some myself as I love popcorn. Such a great low syn treat xx

I was on SlimmingWorld a few years ago I was 27 stone 9lb I lost about 7 stone am now 20stone 7 started a week ago am now 20stone just need to plan and work out my syns as not sure what am aloud and just need to work out my carb weights I need I have rejoined the gym need to start love your videos

Just like to point out that not all veg and fruit is speed food. Speed food is low density foods like lettuce, tomato, carrots, kale. You can't have avocado, peas, sweetcorn, banana etc as a speed food, these are included in your free foods and avocado is syns.

It generally works out at 20 kal is one syn so the pop corn would have been four and a half syns not two xx

Thank you I'm in Australia and loss why in England, we have so much packages of food I spent two hrs in my supermarket with my syn count,and has taken me a week just to write out my shopping list and some of your receipes for a week lol thank you .I can't buy jaffa biscuits because I ate the lot yesterday .Thank you so much love following your utube cooking .

I've just ordered the books from eBay after listening to this. So is there just one plan now. I know they used to give the red and green day options. But looks like it's all one plan now which seems much easier!x

Calories in and calories out is the best and most effective long term way to loose weight and keep the weight off. I recommend working out the calories of what you are eating so you aren't dependent on them in the long term. "Free food" has calories. If you eat more than you burn you won't loose.

I have been doing SW on and off for years ...the last time it didnt work and I gave up....I will try cutting my syns back,that might help.....Why as a size 10 are you doing slimming world....I am a size 18...I really have to do it now🤔🤔🤔
