Nikki, please do a video on how you keep your home clean and organized while guests are at your home. I always see videos on before guests arrive and after guests leave. But, some folks have Christmas guests for a week or two and don't want their home to be a disaster while they are here, so they are not overwhelmed with cleaning after they leave and still make their guests' stay comfortable. QR Codes for Christmas bins.....Ooohlala so high tech and fancy. What a great tip! I would love to do something like that, but the way my technology skills are set up....I have to stick with the manual version. I would love to see a video on how create the QR Coded bins.

A great video!! I have so darn much decor that I've accumulated over the years that I will definitely be organizing and paring down! You've opened up my eyes to it! We have a two year old pug that thinks everything is a toy so we've put up small table trees instead of our full size tree. Doing that I use very few of my standard size ornaments and strings of lights. Maybe as she grows older our little dog won't pay attention to a full size tree so I think I'll declutter with that in mind. And I had to laugh at myself for never thinking of organizing by color! It's such a common sense thing, yet flew right over my head!! Again, thank you for the very helpful video and have a great week!! 🙂

I USED TO BE so organized for Xmas! Yikes, I’ve let that slide the past 3 years 😱. I need to let go of some garlands and about 1/2 my ornaments. Thanks for urging me to get those donated NOW! I really like to keep the season decorating as simple as I can - but I sure would enjoy some sparkle and lights right about now! 🎄

i use red and green for Christmas, orange Halloween, my delicate stuff stays inside on my top shelf of my extra walk in closet….this closet is a luxury i’ve never had before, but the down side is there’s too much storage, i store fabric in there, future grandkids gifts, etc….it is currently under a decluttering process, it’s somewhat organized, like store shelves that need refacing….and pulling diwn the Christmas items is a perfect time to redo the top shelf. love your videos, I am an event coordinator, i love order and the processes involved in keeping order, a time for every task, a place for information stored, a place for objects stored.

last year i donated our artificial tree because it was just too big to handle, i bought a slimmer tree. It felt so good knowing someone was going to get a beautiful tree at a bargain price. I need to definitely declutter my decor items, every year it is my intention. I do have things organized by color, that does really help. It’s taken me weeks to bring in these giant hampers that i’d taken outside because i didn’t need them inside, but now i’m planningto use them to declutter, one is for donate, one is for thriw away, and a smaller one us relocate the item…smaller so i can carry that basket straight to the new location…so now I need to start this months long project, every drawer, every closet…thinning the herd of objects.

Christmas is one of my favorite holiday’s but I have reduced a lot. If I buy something new I ask myself where will I store it and do I need it? Great tips Nikki for sure. 🙏❤️

i reorganized my garage bins and forgot to label where the outside lights are, can’t believe i forgot…so i had to open a few bins…some of my bins are now empty, good problem. i so agree with you, i take time when putting the lights away, i think myself the next season, i keep the light timers with the bulbs. I string up as much in the warm weather, usually by Halloween, definitely before Thanksgiving….I don’t like to be doing this chore in freezing weather

One question I have loved for paring down things is: does this still serve me? If an item is no longer serving me, then i can let it go. It can apply to memory pieces as well, nostalgia serves a purpose too!
