I hope you do go back to do the Secret Path cuz I honestly adore it. Plus, getting Gold on every stage is actually fairly forgiving imo. It’s not a cakewalk, but it still shouldn’t take too long. Also, the Secret Path has 4 new themes exclusive to it that are all really good. Well, they all are different versions of themes found elsewhere, but they’re great new versions and there’s one that’s so drastically different that it might as well be a new song. I do want to talk about the Dedede fight at the end of Level 5. Mainly the cutscene between phases. That Star that comes down before he grows giant is a Sparkling Star from Kirby’s Dream Land, the main collectible in that game that Kirby gets at the end of each stage. Kirby then uses the 4 Sparkling Stars he finds to grow to a massive size and carry Castle Dedede all over Dream Land to return to food. But here, Dedede uses one to grow instead, which is a really fun idea

One thing I appreciate about the Kirby games are there clear arcade influence. The score wasn't something that was just slapped on and can easily be exploited, but actually accurately represents how well you did on the level. Even all the iterations of the True Arena have a built in timer and Star Allies even went one step further and added a score system which made relying on AI partners a liability. Air Ride's achievement system is also an example of this philosophy and signals to players what goals they should be aiming for if they want as much content as possible.

Also, the music here is what plays when you grab Spicy Curry or a Mint Leaf in the first Kirby's Dream Land. (It also plays during the Kaboola boss too.) (0:47) And, he only took two hits to defeat. (11 hits) (9:04) Got rammed, but still struck the gold coin guy! (10:05) Alright, it's boss time, vs. King Dedede! (10:27) Darn shader-loading. I bet you could've dodged that shockwave if not for the game stuttering there. (10:34) Now loading the suck zone... :P (11:07) Victory! (11:20) But wait, there's more! (11:30) Alright, it's final boss time, vs. Dynamax Dedede! :P (12:37) Who wants pancakes? :P (13:05) Victory! And that's game! (13:31) Classic credits music from the first game FTW. (15:40) Ooh, boy. That's probably gonna take some effort. (17:08) You should be able to at least get gold on 1-2, to unlock EX 1. I bet you actually have it in you to get even more golds, though. Give it your best shot!

The music in this stage is the same music that plays when fighting the blimp Kabooola in Kirby's Dreamland.

All The Poyos. We wrap up the Blastout Burst. King Triple Dee is up to his old tricks, but takes a cue from Bowser and turns giant! But his Deluxe Power is not enough. The game then proceeds to leave to get milk. Will it return? We'll see.

You could ask for someome to send you a save with already gold medals on every stage…

If he wants that solution I certainly wouldn't mind providing him my save, provided that it would work. Got a completed save from my jailbroken 3DS backed up I could give him.

@ I know there was a website back in the DS days where you could convert “real” saves to emulator saves, don’t know if it still exists and if it does 3DS.. it would be easier if someone had a save from an emulator.. or maybe the 3DS emulator uses the same save format as the real 3DS.. I haven’t dabbled in emulators/modchips/jailbreaking much after the Wii/DS so I’m a bit out of the loop..
