@@Slimdulla87 I’m not saying this is a bad pick at all, I’m just saying a lot of people thought that they were going to address the future later than we thought, just like how packers fans were confused when they drafted Jordan love, but he ended up starting 3 years later, but Penix is starting when he is 28, (Patrick Mahoney current age is 28), and Mahomes already has 3 rings, so even if he is a top 5 QB, 4 years on the bench while being an amazing QB is too long

I think this was the best one yet. I don’t see a miss for this system. A lot of versatility and bodies being thrown at the o lines are going to create havoc. We have every type of pass rusher you need on our d line at this time.

The draft was a D but they still got some good players even if they aren’t too many day 1 starters. That was my only issue after seeing how the Qb were coming off the board I could get pay that. But I thought the second would’ve been a Wr that could start at Wr or edge starter(which they might’ve fixed with Trice) or a better Dt . Thought we should’ve gotten a Cb for depth before another Rb. And I didn’t like trading our third or swapping for a 6 to reach and grab somebody that would’ve been there because they was not even too 8 in they positions. I liked the Notre Dame Lb . I also think the Rb was good quality at that lick just not much as needed as the other positions

This was a good draft, the only issues that I have is not getting a CB to help Terrell. i know we currently went through free agency, but it is nothing wrong with building depth. I also don't like the McClellan and Logue picks. I can only imagine how Algiers feels right now. its been 2 drafts since him and we went twice after a RB, making his job harder to fight for.

I'll say bc I've been a die hard Falcons fan since 1977 hommie...a 1st round draft pick ahould be on the field DAY ONE and there are 180 million reasons why he won't for at least 2 yrs! And if Cousins balls out and wins a Super Bowl, you honestly think Pennix will see the field at all, and he and his agents are gonna sit around for 3 to 5 years waiting to play. We had stud DEs to take right there at No. 8 that we could plug in right away and make an impact, but instead we draft a guy that's gonna gold a clip board for 2 plus years. The message the pigeons just sent to The League with this idiotic draft is, to the Falcons, a bacc up QB is worth more than a starting Edge Rusher? Unbelievable. In a Time the modern League is extremely pass heavy, the Falcons think bacc up QB is more important than Defense. Smh. Defense wins Championships, mf bacc ups ride the bench ffs. I wouldn't be surprised if ya Defense lays down on u now. Bacc up QB over Defensive needs is just stupid imo.
