775 yards in his first three starts averages out to 258 yards per game. Extrapolate that over 17 games and Penix is throwing for almost 4400 yards. With a full offseason with the starters, he might be the first 5000 yard passer since 2022 Mahomes/Herbert.

I don’t know if this is such a controversial thing to say, but I like Zach Robinson playcalling a lot, so hopefully Penix will be more comfortable and expanding his knowledge of the playbook. If everything goes to according to plan for next season, I think we’re gonna have a juggernaut power house.

Let me say something and I’m not going to say much, just look……. Life is going to get tough, and I feel like we look at the beauty of life and forget that this life can get roughhhh. But God put you through certain stuff to strengthen you, elevate you, which is to push you to grow. The big thing for me is the offense scored no less than 30 points in each of his starts. Rookie or not 30 points will win a lot of games. He’s poised, he confident, he’s ready!
