Poor defending from the Colombian Teran - this guy is on at least 200 k a year and easily drawn in by an average cross from Lennon. Awful lunge that could've seriously injured the Atlanta player. This is where MLS has it all wrong. Just because someone is foreign does not mean you have to buy them. Plenty of cheap young American players that don't commit that foul and that are able to mark a standard cross.

he's no where and I mean no where close to good enough to get into the national team

He was in the youth national teams, (U18, U23) so it's not totally unreasonable to wonder why he didn't make it on the senior USMNT. He does have one senior cap under Gregg Berhalter in a friendly vs Bosnia. I guess that Gregg just doesn't rate him, and there are probably other better options in the pool. I personally wasn't that impressed with him at Atlanta until the past half season or so, his play was SUPER predictable and his crosses generally poor. Having GG to cross to and Saba to play with has lifted his game.

He's got Dest and Scally ahead of him. Aside from those talented two, I'm not sure who is playing RB better than Lennon now. I think he could get call ups for friendlies and CONCACAF. USMNT player depth and pool has grown in quality. 20-15 years ago I think Lennon is a regular.
