Also I would have loved to see you talk about Carlos Bocanegra’s role in our buildup, downfall and rebuild. You didn’t talk about the quality of players we had under our coaches; the coaches weren’t the whole problem. The way Bocanegra tore down our winning roster and put in mediocre replacements was. Now, he is doing better.

Yes, he is, but Lagerway is also great. But, if we don’t want to blame Bocanegra, Eales severely gutted our scouting department.

I was very impressed when we made the playoffs last season and was disappointed when we lost to the crew how we can look forward to the next season with new additions coming in and I hope they can make a very very deep run to the club world cup

Good post but Pineda doesn’t play 5 in the back. He does that vs. certain teams, but we usually play in a 4-3-3/4-2-3-1 with the wingbacks high and gaining confidence, like you said. You also failed to mention that Pineda has been extremely inconsistent when it comes to how we play and our results, instead painting him in the light of a savior. He has been good for the most part, I don’t hate him, but he has his problems.

I think he has been decent but I know the Atlanta fans expect MLS Cups which they should. Will be interesting to see if he makes it.

We'll see what happens this coming Season. Some of the signings made last Summer were very impactful under Garth & Gonzalo. Myumba, Xande Silva, and Saba have transformed our Attack letting Almada Loose!

In such a short time we have reached the playoffs. Our frustration has been with Brad Guzan giving up more goals than we like. Looks like they are quietly adding a new GK to transition away from Guzan in the near future.
