Your NA 4age is not going to brake a TTI gearbox. We run one in a 900hp supra track car and its been in for 9 years no problems. Its been out and striped once a few years ago just for a look inside and it was all good.
@NEVER-LIFT3 ай бұрын
@@Sager-fs9bv the reports that I’ve heard were the magnesium cases cracking, not sure if that’s what Eddie was referring to. The ae86 box TTI do is specifically designed for NA so I’m sure if we put one behind a high powered turbo 4age it wouldn’t last long. Thanks for the comment brother

Nice car, but I'm calling BS on the 600kg quoted weight in the video thumbnail. Factory curb weight of a KP60 is 710 kg. Old mate has swapped in a heavier engine, gearbox, diff, struts, brakes, dry sump system etc.. It is almost impossible to engine swap an older car, keep it streetable and make it lighter than factory. I know this because I have a 1993 Ford Festiva WA (1st gen) 3 door Trio (base spec) which has a factory curb weight of 750kg. I have swapped in a B6T (Laser TX3 turbo engine), IHI RHF5 turbo, intercooler, EFI conversion and a G series fwd gearbox (stronger). To reduce weight I have stripped as much of the interior as possible, changed to a lithium battery, custom made a lightweight side exit exhaust, done a rear wiper and spare tyre delete and a few other things. Last time I weighed it came in at 755kg with a full tank of fuel. To make it significantly lighter I'd have to change to polycarbonate windows and make carbon fiber bonnet, doors and hatch. The only FWD road cars around 600kg are classic Minis and Kei cars such as Daihatsu Miras etc.. For RWD cars the only ones I can think of are kit cars like Caterhams etc.. The lightest Lotus Elises are over 700kg. As for modified RWD cars, the Hayabusa engined KE10 being built by Nugget Garage may go close to 600kg.

Also is 30mm shorter at the front than the MK2 and mk3. It all adds up and is lighter than the more common later models. It might not be 600kgs but will be pretty close. @@samthesr20man
