This is in Ab. If you have perfect pitch you could hear it. But just to elaborate due to the heavy drop tone it's in Ab because the tuning is too low to really be the F#. F# is a lot higher of a sound compared to Ab. Flat tunings are much different than sharps.

This is actually really unique and interesting, given that djent music has sort of become rather saturated and homogeneous as of late. I give you major kudos. I seriously love this. When you have a release of some sort, you should announce it, because I would gladly throw ten dollars or whatever your way so that you continue making music like this.

you can play on modified 6 strings or 7's, Meshuggah started on 7 strings in F with the Djent. I mod them specially for those on a budget, My 7 is in E B E A D F# B and has been for 4 years, with more tension than regular tunings.

From Wikipedia: "Lyric poetry is a genre of poetry that expresses personal and emotional feelings. In the ancient world, lyric poems were sung, accompanied by a lyre. Lyric poems do not have to rhyme, and today do not need to be set to music or a beat." So it's both.

Flay Erro Djent sounds like ''djent-djent-djent, djent, djent-djent-djent'' that's why djent bands are called djent. While you might be right, djent bands should still be called djent.

Singing can be considered a sort of music, she could even be humming or whistling, it still his considered music. If she were to just "speak" the lyrics with no rhythm, melody or whatever, it would probably sound more like a poem than a song.

Lyrics are not muical by nature since they are simply the sequence of words to a song, much like sheet music is just the sequence of notes for the guitar. vocals on the other hand happen to be entirely musical, exactly like the sound in which the guitar can produce. metal without vocals sounds like metal without a guitar to me... it can be done (quite well, in this case)... but it just doesn't seem right and i cant get into it...
