I want to commend you on your videos. I'm a licensed Solar Contractor and have worked in the industry for over 10 years. I've installed systems from 2kw to over 1MW of almost every major brand through out the US and the Caribbean. I've watched a lot of solar videos on KZbin and I've truly enjoyed listening to you. I pray for your prosperity and continued success. Keep up the good work.

@@andred3199 Well first off I am not a native English speaker myself. English is my third language and still it is my only means to communicate with a person outside my country so if a person speaks clear english, it is a lot easier for me to understand them. The maker of this video has highlighted the features of the inverter and what he says, shows that he understands solar inverters in great detail and he is not someone new to this area. You are projecting your own thoughts on me and being offended with no reason because I didn't mean anything offensive.

@@saif080 thanks for your explanation, didn't know that about your history. Just that I've heard people tell me and friends they're impressed with our ability to speak good English and it's often coming from a position of condescension, like they expect us to speak in grunts like animals and here we are speaking English, and good too. Hello Dr Solar. I was really disturbed when I read the title on your video. I am looking at buying this inverter, and was very relieved at the end after watching your video. Please interrogate further on this, and also will recommend type1 SPD as a first line of defence in any system hooked up with our unreliable grid system. Many thanks for sharing your experience.

Hello Prince. This customer likes to play with the settings. We are going to add additional protection on the AC side. He is is not the only installation in the estate he lives in. He is the only one that likes to change the settings. I wish he could tell us what happened. He refuses to come clean. The inverter has been very bullet proof and we might be the first such failure in a while. Please feel free to purchase one. They are well built

Nice video as usual Dr Solar. I can only say God bless the Chinese. They really can be very hard working and committed. Looks like you need a few more solar panels. LiFePO4 batteries have nearly the flattest discharge curves of all battery chemistries so voltage is not a very accurate indicator of capacity. It appears the inverter was using the voltage to guess or approximate the battery capacity, a method which will be rather innacurate with this chemistry. I was thinking that batteries of the BYD, Pylontech and Dyness class will have CAN/RS485 or other ports that communicate accurate values of their SOC to the inverter. Is it that you aren't using the battery communication cables to the inverter or the batteries are reporting misleading values to the inverter? Need to install a shunt?
@drsolar4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching and commenting as usual. The inverter and battery communicate. However the battery needs to get to 100% for the BMS to calibrate.
