Disney really betrayed this movie, and its team. They barely promoted it. What a damn shame. It is one of my favourite disney, and animated, movies. It's gorgeous, fascinating, hilarious, and inspiring. As a kid who always adored history in particular (and was physically frail due to disability), this movie felt made for me (apart form the fact that milo was male lol). The amount of time and effort spend to create a believable world, built upon myth and history, makes it a work of art.

Let's hope Disney makes this live-action, and *HOPEFULLY* makes it true to the original, no politics slapped in there, few changes, just keep the best parts, and fix the parts that were a bit rusty.

@@captainmatiastorres4425 I really don't like the live action remakes so far, but if someone could actually do a GOOD live action version I'd love it. Besides keeping politics and pop culture out of it they need to avoid casting people just because they're famous (don't do like beauty and th3 beast hiring Emma Watson instead of someone who can actually sing for a role where the singing is probably the most important part)

I respect his decisions, especially because he had to do what was right for his health, but part of me really wishes Michael J Fox had fully embraced voice acting after his Parkinson’s manifested. I mean, he has tried to come back into acting in recent years, but voice acting is still acting. Just because you're behind the screen doesn't mean you can't not act and acting in general still continues to be rough on him with Parkinson's. I agree that it sucks that he probably won't do as much acting in the future, but I will say one thing we do have are talented actors/voice actors in the industry that can nearly and almost identically sound just like Michael in his youth. It's not the same, but it's hella close.

@@UrSammich oh I’m fully aware. That’s what I meant when I was saying I respect his decisions to do what he needs for his health, and I agree on the voice actors like AJ Locasio who do a great job capturing his voice. @UrSammich
@UrSammich 3 жыл бұрын
@@whistlingsage9817 It's not just cast though. It's making sure the story remains "mostly" unchanged. I can see improving on a few things to make it better. Giving more of a backstory/origin story to Atlantis for starters, maybe include some actual history or myths to tie in the movie and of coarse make the lovely submarine big, massive and grand. I think having Michael J Fox as a cameo appearance would be cool, possibly even Cree Summer. I wouldn't give them major roles, but maybe have Michael as maybe a crew member who would have joined in but doesn't tag along could work. Again, a minor acting role since he typically doesn't do much acting. Although considering the movie didn't hit well, it's hard to say if Disney would consider a live action. Disney is mostly focused on the renaissance classics for live action. The next movie is "supposed" to be Lilo and Stitch, my personal favorite movie...which also has me concerned seeing how my other favorite "Mulan" did rather...poorly.

I grew up watching Atlantis dubbed in Latin American spanish so I didn't know Michael J. Fox voiced Milo. There's something in his voice that never ages. It's like hearing Marty McFly speak. As he would say... This is heavy!

This was awesome to watch! Such a shame they only made a small number of films with this type of animation and genre. Atlantis, treasure planet, Titan A.E and the Iron giant were awesome films. Sadly we didn't get enough of them because the old timers absolutely dispised them. Also Pixar style of animation was introduced and it changed everything but they do amazing films, I ain't hating.

It's so wholesome to see Disney voice actors genuinely having a good time, especially when it's a movie you absolutely loved as a kid. By the way, do you have anything from Treasure Planet? I would give actual money to see Joseph-Gordon Levitt and Brian Murray performing their lines together.

My parents went to high school with one of the directors, fortunately i got the opportunity to speak with Kirk Wise himself. He said Micheal J. Fox was wonderful to work with, and Don Novello would read his lines from the script only once, then spent the rest of the takes ad-libbing while the rest of them died with laughter. It was such a pleasure to hear about the making of the movie.

I love that people say the movie is underrated but the loungefly bags for the movie was one the best selling Disney collabed bag this year. Disney is all ears and eyes. It's the reason why hocus pocus became such a great focus in the past of years. Disney knows the impact, along with Hercules muses to. Disneys will definitely make sure more merch of this movie will be available. I even think a possible acknowledge at Epcot with the new additions expansions next year.

We don't mind rewatching them, the kids go crazy over the action and visualization, and the message. I completely agree with them. Thank you SBNEWatch for uploading. R.I.P.
