Atlas Reviews are out from the critics for Jennifer Lopez's Netflix AI movie. A romantic comedy pitched as an action film in the trailer JLo's movie was expected to be very different than how it turned out. Atlast features a robot AI merging with Jennifer Lopez (Atlas) and fighting to stop Simu Liu as the villain. Are the Atlas Reviews worth paying attention to? Is Atlas worth watching?

Atlas reviews are in for the Jennifer Lopez Netflix movie and the critics aren't pleased. While the trailers pitched it as an action mech movie, it turns out it's just a weird romcom where she falls in love with a robot. While likely to become a more common topic of conversation in the future, I get the feeling that would never apply to JLo. Especially when Simu Liu is deemed to be the best of those available. On top of that you have a lot of other modern tropes combined with and obsession with Jlo's feelings. All combined it seems like a movie made to take up time, but serve no purpose. More dedicated to self indulgence of emotions rather than anything even remotely approaching masculine heroic values. I wasn't expecting much from this movie, but I wasn't expecting the critics to go so hard on it either. But what did you think of what you saw? Let me know your thoughts down below and as always, thanks for watching :)

“Don’t Date Robots…!” (This message was brought to you by the Space Pope.) This is an attempt to ‘romanticize’ artificial intelligences, keep in mind that the wannabe elites want to merge human consciousness with it, to rewrite our humanity and attempt to undermine morality. It is “a.i. propaganda”, one reviewer called it for what it is, the Fourth Industrial Reich wants to convert humanity into the “Borg”, this is an attempt to nudge or familiarize these concepts to the “layman”.

Doesn't it feel like we were somehow swapped in an alternate universe? Or regular people were taken over by something alien bent on destroying humanity? Or someone added strange chemicals to the food of some cities and states to make people deranged? As strange and silly as all that sounds, it's not as strange as the insanity gripping a big chunk of the population and turning our world upside down.

The grammatical correct term for any robot is IT. IT is a thing or animal. English is a simple language because of this. Other cultures have male and female forms of THE and A /AN which English does not. From a political point of view does that mean we pre-programmed AI to be illogical and offended as well ? Hope we give them anxieties and neurosises as well. Modernity sux

Shepherd. The character's name may be fancy, but so what. And what the hell is an "Atlas"? Oh yeah, right. A Titan who was punished by Zeus to hold the whole sky over his shoulders forever. Oh, and Atlas' name comes from the Greek word Aτλας which supposedly means "holder", "bearer" or something like that (like what the Titan was, you would suppose). Guess that's not a meaningless name for a character carrying a big chip over her shoulder. But then again, who am I talking to.

Also, for the love of good writing, lets not have it be 'the one AI that sided with humanity vs the others' and actually have a reasonable split going on. AI fought on both sides of the last world war but are still widely accepted by human society (it was a nation v nation war, not robots v humans). @@2012sonora I understand they have these stories, and try to push them. The problem is, they do not work. Either, it is the AI, that save us from AI. Huge battle where AI do everything. That is basically the story of 2 gods fighting, and we die in the background. So, not a story about humans. Or you have the stories where the humans are the one who win against the rogue AI. But anyone with basic understanding of humans, will know that would cause humans to want to ban AI, after the war. It really is, like they do not think about their own stories. If you've ever watched Pitch Meetings, you might remember that great joke about AI. Writer guy is talking about the message that we should "put all of our trust in AI" and Producer guy says "yeah, the Disney plus algorithm has been suggesting that lately.... Kind of aggressively, now that I think about it" That's what this movie is... Written by AI to say "trust me, leave your prejudices behind, AI.csm be trusted absolutely". The machines are coming for us....

"When the Game devs were male the stories were better." And I just started replaying the Arkham series.... yeah...yeaaaaah. Batman peaked when it was just a group of nerdy dudes lead by Paul Dini, it's not going to be better. Then came the women and they made "Suicide Squat Kills." and... Well... I am a woman myself, actually... and I think we need to keep women out of comic books...

@@arthurkinglor5420 Funny thing, there was actually a western comic book written by a woman I grew up with I really loved. It was. "Elf Quest." by Wendy Pini. Thing about Elf Quest though... It was a completely original story, with a completely original world and lore, made up and drawn just by Wendy, and then she developed story ideas by talking to her husband so... That just makes her so much more talented than any of these hacks, she didn't take over anybody else's creation to change to be her own. No she legit made a unique and fleshed out fantasy world I for one would have loved to see in animation. heck, she even made dark skinned elfs FAR before that became a political thing, and in HER story it made sense because they were legit DESERT elfs. We followed a group of pale-skinned forest elfs that had their forest burned down so they flee to the desert and meet other elfs of a darker skin tone out there. And heck, my favorite manga of all time is "Full Metal Alchemist." also written by a woman so... There are extremely talented female comic book artists out there. They are just in the minority, but maybe that's fine. Maybe we should just allow groups to be minorities and not force any equal representation. And well... Batman was always a series for boys so... Yeah... Let men write it. The person who invented Harley Quinn wasn't a woman, it was a dude. Paul Dini, and whenever a woman started writing for her she just became a worse character.

A lot of female writers seem to think that comic book movies, etc., are "male power fantasies". Sometimes, they are, but not usually. YES... the male hero acquires power... but then, what does he *do* with it? He uses that power to SERVE... not RULE... usually as some kind of protector, defender, etc. He uses it to benefit OTHER people... not himself... and usually at considerable expense to himself. What do the girlbosses do? If you look at Guyladriel, she wants revenge... and doesn't care who else gets hurt, so long as she gets what she wants. If you look at John Wick, he also wants revenge... but he doesn't go around hurting innocent people to get it... in spite of his backstory. If you look at Jen/She-Hulk, what does she want? Status... which seems to be *very* common among the girlbosses. What does Scarlet Witch/Wanda want, in WandaVision? She wants HER husband back... and doesn't care who she hurts to get it. What does Rey want, in the SW ST? Not sure... but it seems to be status... but NOT being sure is part of the problem. We don't really know her motives, do we? If you look at the main FemChar from Blacklist (Agent Keene), what does she want? To sate her curiosity, find out who her parents were, and she will do ANYTHING to find out, even hurt her friends, use them, abuse them, throw them under the bus... and becomes a villain in the process... even though the show never acknowledges it.

The first half of the film was little more than a thinly disguised reskin of Aliens right down the the emotionally compromised heroine and a group of skeptical, bad ass marines (in a loading hanger - they couldn't even be bothered to change that) who are far too confident in their technological advantage and, of course, they ware wiped out leaving Atlast to single handedly counter the alien threat. The second hand was a substitution romcom with J-Lo's paramour being a disembodied voice because a real man is far too toxic for the role.

Jennifer Lopez had it all, beauty, a 400 millions dlls career, Ben Afflek, she could just be happy far from spotlights…but no.. she had to flaunt him around, knowing he hates paparazzi, she had to show him off in red carpets, she had to make an album all about him and how perfect their love was, she had to do a documentary AND a movie to convince everyone she is great and her love history is the greatest ever told, she had to show the private letters he sent to her for everyone to see…and now? Apparently, the announcement of her divorce will be after her tour to save face… Imagine now she will go on tour singing every night about her perfect love story never told, while everyone knows is all over…. such an humiliation, and she did it to herself all alone.

Did the writer intentionally throw shade at JLo or was this a comedy? Atlas is so brilliant she couldn’t figure out how to operate the flight machine. Instead she bawls, shakes her head and tosses that hair, emulating every concert she’s ever given, with the exception of the a$$ grabbing and lip syncing. She’s well on her way to breaking the record for number of Razzle Award nominations. This movie is a shoe in for a win.
