Beautiful locomotive. She looks good in her CN noodle scheme. I'll have to pick one up. I have one from an older run in the as delivered CN scheme in black with the orange "block"on the hoods side.

I have 2 of these from the last production run. Fond Johnstown & Gloversville (20 &21). They will be collector items to a very small number of people in upstate NY. Visit the Fulton County Museum in Gloversville, NY and run them on their historic layout.

Maybe the flange squeal only works when the loco is running on a curve. I've seen locos with sensors on the wheels to activate them

10 min quick look! Great review.... how to brand this... quick look seems off... dunno... updated review? Refreshed review? Renewed review? Either way - great work!

I just purchased this same locomotive from Walthers. Did you check front coupler height with a gauge? It is 0.015” low on mine. I switched to Kadees and the height is still the same. No way to correct this without machining the pocket or using a Kadee upset coupler. Ran it on my friend’s layout. Love the sound and it is a beautiful runner but we were experiencing derailment issues on 36” radius curves. I will address these issues but it is disappointing that I have to do this on a new locomotive.
