I would like this game to stray away from the path that ark went on. Ark is a great game and I love it to death, but if you consider how much different the entire play style is compared to when it was just the island, that game changed drastically. I would like for Atlas to stay a bit more on track and this seems like they might be straying to said path

The Capstan doesn't necessarily have to be on the top deck Lots of larger wooden ships had them somewhere in the middle of a gun deck

@@thisaccountisntreal107 I think it would be fun addition. Just as quick, but more realistic. It could be as simple as a lever or a two person crank or maybe a large capstan depending on the ship and you hit interact and it cranks the anchor up. …or something like that 🤷‍♂️

Have you bettered the singleplayer ship controls ? Last i played the npcs ( charged way too much ) sometimes didnt work. So i had to run to open sails and stuff

I love this game but it’s unplayable from a graphical standpoint on Xbox it used to be just fine but here recently I tried getting back into Atlas only to notice most of the textures are essentially raw polygons it looks rough I hope it can be fixed though as I really want to play this game again

Im on board since Day 1 and dont hear too much on the haters, ofc the game had some hard problems, but i like how the new devs are finally developing a real idea what Atlas should be and add much more content in the most recent months. The first 1,5 years after EA release were totally wasted, i guess we all know that, but like already mentioned the good work is showing. :)

I'm somewhat disappointed in the quality of the past few ATLAS trailers. It seems your development team was switched up, and with that you either lost CudaCores or whichever other video person you had doing your trailers. Its a shame how significantly worse the quality, shot composition, syncing to music, as well as the audio in this entire video is. I wish it were better, as I know this game deserves better!

I loved the idea of this game, played for months! I left because of bugs. Thought to myself, "it's been well over a year since I've played, so much content and patches has been released the game must be stable by now." Downloaded it created a character and loaded ready to begin streaming a new series.. game crashed five times in a row loading onto an official server, 3 times on a player dedicated. I've deleted the game.. maybe I'll come back in 2 years or more. Hopefully it has enough stability to actually play. (Xbox)

I’m not a huge fan of the updated skill trees. I don’t think you should have to unlock things like vitamin depletion to get to something totally unrelated like hand gather rate. Plus some things just seem out of place. But I do like combining the firearm skill tree with the ranged combat tree as well as putting certain skills like large gun port with expert shipwright(because why would you craft a large gun port before you have a ship to put it on?) Also, what happened to the tiny shipyard? I really liked that. They make good docks and make much more sense to use than a whole shipyard, at least when it comes to rafts and dingys.

I didn't say anyone is great. I feel the base idea of the game is great. it just needs to be properly executed and tbf. I think that more people would play the game if the PVE aspect of the game was better and more exploration heavy. PVP good and nice and all but the pvp gang is the smallest part of a playerbase.

Does anyone still play this game? After our whole company left because of all the Chinese hackers on PvP servers, I never went back and checked it out. I loved this game but Ship battles were ruined by hackers spawning in whales and dropping them on our ships during raids and company battles.

I like the new basic shipyard, but if it’s expected to be one of the first things you build, it should be the cheapest. Followed by the small shipyard, advanced shipyard, and then the large shipyard. PS loving the new ship classes. There’s so many classes and types of ships throughout history. I’d love to see them all represented in the game. Also, I wonder… wouldn’t it make more sense to craft these new ships with the small shipyard?

Pas assez d'égalité malheureusement, le système de claim est à revoir, sur le nombre de compagnies les îles sont trop peu accessibles, surtout en pvp , 200points on peu claim 4 iles au moins par compagnies... limité une île voir 2 max aurait été judicieux... déjà les heures de lancement ont encore privilégié les pays autres que l Europe un serveur devrait être lancé à l heure locale concernée, tu lance pas un serveur a 22h a 00h NA et 6h du mat EU .... les européens arrivent après la courses

LOL. you can't even get your crew to follow you without them getting stuck every 5 seconds, and having to help get them unstuck so they can continue to follow you. you can barely climb out of the water and onto your raft. animals camp your body after they kill you(sharks, whales, jellyfish, lions, wolves,ect) i just started playing again, so i haven't had time to lose any crew, tames, or ships to glitches, like i used to, but yea, theres also that lame ass shit. crew and tames floating behind your ship, or just outright vanishing. and that's just shit i can't list off the top of my head. this game has A LOT of potential, but is a BROKEN PIECE OF SHIT. somehow has fanbase.

Been playing on Xbox since day one. Please stop adding stuff and make it playable. The game dashboards before you can even load into most servers. You get close to an island with any structures and there is so much lag the game crashes and by the time you get loaded back in your ship is sinking or sailed off and is getting owned by ships of the dammed.

The new devs turned what was a good prmise of a game into a trash game. It was a good survival/building game and now trying to be like SOT. Stopped playing when they didn't listen to the community and implemented their module system. @Baron Greenback this is an improvement, now you don't have to waste hours getting to a biome, and modular ships are custom, the system just hasn't been implemented fully, it's still new, but I'd rather being able to add fore castles, different cosmetics, rowing or ra.ming modules, which are nice to have, vs putting down structures to make the shape of a back compartment only for it to not mesh with the ship, and btw, what lie? They said it's early access, they are very clear with their direction, just because ppl can't read it don't like it isn't their fault
