I think this is the rap "group" that I have the most songs on playlist from, including solo artists, after going through countless artists discographies. Just superb beats and Slug is so good at his craft. If I had to pick one producer to get a random beat from to freestyle to, I'd probably pick Ant. He just has that vibe that hits me.

Bought this album the day it was released. Had just recently went through a breakup with the mother of my children and I was drinking and popping pills all the time. This song came on and when that line hit saying damn I should have been a better father to my daughter I broke down f****** crying. My children with a little bit of help from this song change my whole world around.

I was an 18 year old kid working my first job in some shitty warehouse during the 2008 financial crisis. Lived in California, gas was $5 a gallon, and I had no idea who I was or who I wanted to be, when a guy at work gave me this album on a burned CD. Took it home and listened to it on my shitty homebuilt computer (I didn't have a CD player lmao), and to this day, it remains one of the most powerful, impactful albums I've ever heard. Slug is absolutely one of the greatest, and he helped me figure out who I am.
