Atmospheric correction of Landsat 8 by ENVI Software Preprocessing

What happens when the Radiance Gains and Radiance Offset columns of the Spectral section of the View Metadata option is empty? I tried editing it and running the tool but I kept getting an empty raster. any ideas?

Many thanks for the nice tutorial,but if it's from landsat 7 and has gaps in it ,what step comes first? filling gaps first or radiometric correction? thank u
