Many troubles from my X shight 5 , often stop operating

There are still alot of issues with x sight 5, i was informed by ATN Tech support that they are running more test and hopefully will be releasing a new firmware update soon.

Spending over 1,000 on a scope for it not to work is frustrating. I have had my lrf 5-25 since Christmas of last year and have not been able to shoot once. I have sent it to be repaired only to get it back in the same condition. ATN support did say if I sent it again they will sent me a new one, so at least their customer service is responsive, I just hope they work on their research and development team

@@precision_Airfirst scope didn’t have a working SD card slot. Sent it back. Now, I’m slowly starting to see the same issues presented in the video. I’m not sure if I want to send it back or smash against a tree. $1000 basic night vision scope that may or may not work for more than 15-20 minutes? Sightmark got a sale from me for the Wraith 4K which isn’t as fancy as this scope and does have some issues of its own, but it works.

@@johnbaughman6234 a working scope that does what its supposed to do is a good scope. even if it doesnt have that many features. at least it works. the atn x-sight 5 wont keep basic scope functions therefore its a toy in my opinion. at this point, i plan to ship it back and have it replaced with a new one. ill then sell that new scope for whatever i can get out of it, take the loss and wash my hands of them.

I bought one of these and am just beginning to work with it. I am praying it works as it should. I am wondering if anyone has had an X Sight 5 work properly yet??

Our scopes worked fine until the firmware update 476, we both had problems after that and ATN replaced both of our scopes so far so good, yes there has been people with zero problems.

I got the atn x 5 5x25 updated the firmware, stated error scope froze I did a hard reset and now will not power up. Sending it back to atn , I will give it one more try after I receive it and if I have to send it back in I will request a refund.

Just a tip from experience, i always call before doing an update. Both updates i was told not to update. There have been several people with those issues as well. Im on my third scope so far so good.

I have been dealing with ATN for months now trying to get a functioning scope that holds zero. Ive swapped out 3 xsight5 scopes and then paid for the upgrade because i was told they dont have the same problems. That was a lie. They went through their entire enventory to find a scope that held zero and couldnt. They then contacted the ATN store in Austin,tx to see if they were having the same issues. They were. Still im stuck with a product that doesnt work and they refuse to refund. Anyone else feel like this is worthy of class action lawsuit? Considering the amount of faulty products with no way to remedy the situation other than a refund which they refuse to do.

Sorry i thought i replied to your comment already, i finally got my 3rd scope back with the new firmware 600, i have ran over 30+ rounds testing most of the functions as of right now everything works. i know new firmware 706 was released, i recommend calling ATN Tech Support before you upload it.

Fight for a refund. I've sent mine in 3 times. They sent me a nee different one this last time. Still have issues. Not completely responsive button presses. Freezes up still. Etc...

from what im told ATN is field testing some of the returned scopes and should be releasing another firmware update

@GadsdenFreedomOutdoors Man. I hope they figure this out. I've had problems since I bought it in July. Freezing up, disappearing reticle, NON RESPONSIVE button presses, failure to retain zero, Black bar through middle of scope screen. Wish I could just be done with it and get a refund but they day since I ordered it through my local gun store, I can't get a refund. Only replacements. Well, the shipping is gonna kill them until I get one that works.

Unfortunately, i'm on my second scope which has been working great except when i went hunting, my scope does not save zero, so its going back again. But i did test a theory, every time you turn your scope on go to zero hit confirm brings it back to zero.

Pre ordered mine in early 2023. Got mine early May. Worked until June. After a shot, screen went black. Then wouldn't stay on unless plugged into wall. ( battery pack, no. ) NO lightning bolt for charging. Soon as you unplugged, scope shut off and unfortunately, I can bring my wall with me to the field. Ontop of an unsuppressed 350L Cmmg. Sent it back, scope was repaired. Come Sept, same exact issue. Sent back again, scope was repaired. Scope ran great until late Nov. Was shooting ontop of a suppressed 350L Cmmg on day at the range and black screened. Called ATN, got RMA, scope was replaced with a " brand new " unit. And to make this long story short... mounted up the brand new unit, scope was on to align reticle to be straight with the earth's axis. Did this at 330am. Shut scope off, loaded up rifles. ( 4 different rifles to zero ). Was at the range at day break, scope wouldn't turn on. Called ATN. Ran me through some tests. Comes back, hardware issues. I didn't even get to fire a round off with the brand new unit. Getting another brand new unit on Friday. Take 5.

I agree 100%, ATN support is A+, same reason we have not moved on to another brand. I'm just waiting until after the holidays to send back. I'll try and get a few more hunts in with it. turning it on and confirming zero is working for now. I have 3x15 LRF, my brother has 5x25 LRF he is on his 2nd scope and has not been able to field test yet, and my son has the 3x15 LRF so far no issues. One thing i will say is im impressed with, i got caught in a rain storm and the scope has no issues, no leakage, no electronic issues, major plus.

Unfortunately it’s too late to return it or take that bit of good advice. This $1000 near brick has made me question if ATN really has anything of quality. What is the THOR like for $6K? Does it have similar issues?

I bought one 2 months ago and had nothing but issues upon issues...so I returned it as fast as I received it.
