Leon....I LOVE YOU, Man!!! :) lol Really...not sure if you are an Audio Engineer and where you're located, but you KNOW how to dial things in! I am NOT and would struggle with more than 3 or 4 settings and the combination of tweaks you can make (need to calc it out) is probably in the millions or billions)!! But it's like you've spent soo much time, you know right right to go to and upon your ear!!...5k here...100k here, etc.! Because of you and your videos, you REALLY have exponentially increased the learning curve for ME and for that, Im eternally grateful and I take the dark road finally (May 2023) and for the first time picking up both the AmpliFIRE 3 and AmpliFIRE 12 and look forward to spending some significant time with these and tweaking to get the tones that are in my head! I think form what I'm hearing in my headphones, the BE in this video stock and/or with the IR used are too shrill and raspy. I don't hear it so much like that at home on my unit, but what I hear here and you did an excellent job tweaking and taming things to get it to sound even better and excellent from base. I think turning the Master up on the amp helped open it up and get that power section breakup. What I would love to see is for you or someone that knows how to dial these things in (if not done already), sit and take say Dokken's "Under Lock and Key" or Whitesnake's first album or Van Halen's first album and dial in their settings as close as possible and provide the settings and file and say.....this is George Lynch's set up, this is John Syke's setup, thie is Eddie Van Halen's first album setup!! Going to have to really look and see if anything like this exists. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

The precise tones I am seeking out as well: Lynch, Sykes, EVH, DeMartini, Schenker, Clark/Collen/Campbell DL tones. Edit: bought the Firebox version. All your presets import. The SLO preset in magnificent. I use it with a stereo reverb pedal in to the monitors at home. standalone stompbox when out .

great video Leon very informative with the controls of the units it's extremely helpful to understand how it can change the tone by tweaking ... I would enjoy to see a video of dialing in the BROWN SOUND from a blank preset. It would help me understand the EQ / Parametric .. and the loads of other subtleties in the Echo and the Reverb settings .. Thank you

Hey man! Awesome video! I have found the channel only today, but it already improved my Amplifire experience! Just one question: Is it possible to achieve that "wide" effect without the pitch block? My amplifire is the 3 switches version, and it does not have the pitch capability... Thanks a lot! Cheers from Brazil!

@@LeonTodd Hey! Thanks for answering! Yes, I have the latest firmware... this is a limitation of the 3 switch version. The 6 and 12 switches version has more processing memory than the 3... That's what atomic has told us "3 switches users" hehe

@ shame! Wasn't aware of that. Try a dual delay with one side panned hard left set to around 10ms and one side hard right to 12ms as a starting point

@@LeonTodd ​Leon Todd Yeah! It's a bit of a bummer, but as my band doesn't need it (maybe once in every two months, when we play RATM's Killing in The Name Of), I do not worry a lot. I have been trying to emulate the effect using the delay, yeah, but not that way. I will try your advice, thanks! And, after your videos, the Friedman models have really come to my interest, and I will try them on my next gig! What I am loving the most is how it reacts to my guitar knob. I use the Rumble Brite and it does react, but I think that on the Friedman the cleans are sounding cleaner, and that's awesome! Also, I have checked Ragdoll and dude, you all sound KILLER! Loved it. I really like the AX8 BE C45 and HBE 2018 - I did a 5 minute tones video with the BE C45 on the Axe III recently you may enjoy. They all sound great in their own way.

My god, it’s the kind of thing that makes me love my Kemper. Kemper sound way better... without spending so much time to try to approach original with tricks and tweaking instead of practicing or finding nice licks. By the way it’s a good job Leon. Did you try Emissary 2.0 and Nadir free plugin from Ignite amps? They sound good!

It literally takes 5 mins tops to get a decent tone without explaining how to do it , like Leon does... but you can't compare a profiler with any modeler anyway

I have to use my pedal board into amp on pro logic x to get sounds I like as I cannot afford extra software, but I still as good times as your getting using pedal board
