trehammerz They're definitely Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers. Steven Faust Ola plays with several different brands of pickups. He likely has a cache of prototypes of his signature model with different pickups, so he could end up choosing his final tone.

I finally bought one of these ....and its very good..owned a HX stomp and sold it. The amp models in the AA to me are alot easier to play. I play the intro riff to Tesla's Modern day cowboy as a test for sensitivity and note separation.. the intros left hand hammer ons are spot on...this amp makes me sound so much better..ive been playing for nearly 30 years and this is worth checking out. Ive played through A LOT of stuff . Amps in this unit are in my opinion better than Helix...Katana....Headrush..Fendermodelers...Marshall code... Higher end stuff like fractal and kemper are very good stuff though

Hey, do you know if it is possible to make two different amp blocks, one on right and one at left with one input? And are bass amp models avaible?
@christopherwalker20972 жыл бұрын
@@deadboz6007 You can't do two amps at once in fact you can't even double the same effects...like two delays or two overdrives. Now that I think about it you can't put effects in any order you want. There's no parallel routes for anything. But.....kick butt amp modeling makes up for that. Bass models available..yes a 59 bassman...lol well it is and actual bass amp 😃
@deadboz60072 жыл бұрын
@@christopherwalker2097 thx. Then this modeler is not my choice.
@christopherwalker20972 жыл бұрын
@@deadboz6007 I can see that for lack of choices. I see a big movement toward interface and ease of use...routing and integration to reasons to choose this or that modeler over another rather than purely sound. But if the sound gets me with the feel....that trumps everything else and I find a way to make it work.
@deadboz60072 жыл бұрын
You are right, and if we had a bass player in the band i would be think different. Now i am using a midi-looper (Gremlin), splitter and octaver into an bass amp, the out of the Gremlin into the guitar amp to play guitar and bass with one guitar and to seperate it if needed. A reverb/delay in the fx loop and then i have 5 cables between guitar, amps and pedalboard ... 😱

How exactly do you assign the "only" three buttons to change presets and then adjust those presets with the same ones? For example, right now I use an old Line 6 FBV shortboard (Mk1) so I have access to banks, presets, stomp, modulation, delay, reverb and tap tempo. Is it possible to get that same functionality in this pedal? Short and long presses maybe? Someone please enlighten me.

I was considering it, but changed my mind, I simply dont see the advantage over my RP1000 other than loading CAB impulses and size.
@mindhormone7 жыл бұрын
loading cabs is the big PLUS. you better educated yourself. or get yourself into mixing/audio production and tell me you don't need cabs. anyway what can you expect from "digi-crap-tech"
@ecorona217 жыл бұрын
I simply dont care man, I have been playing and trying gear for 20 years and I dont do this for a living just for fun, just dont see advantage when I can get similar results with what you call digi-crap-tech or BIA$. If you like the Atomic good for you, its just not for me, there are better options. and cmon Ola can make a turd sound awesome anyways.
@mindhormone7 жыл бұрын
yeah ola does magic with his DAW. playing for 20 years is nothing if compared, even to atleast two years of mixing/audio production. My friends who have been playing for 40 years don't even realize they have bad taste for tones! it's ridiculously laughable. they just don't get it. until one of them try to record an album, then he got interested to my amateurish mixing skills. so playing for decades does not mean you have the "ears". I cannot even listen to joe satriani bad tones.
@ecorona217 жыл бұрын
I agree man, I'm tone deaf and belie me its freaken difficult to distinguish stuff. I dont have anything against impulses, its actually the other way around. I'm just saying that I think there are cheaper options for this particular device. cheers.

thevisi0nary Depends on what you're after. As nice as the HD500x is, its solving a different problem. Less cost, more 'stuff' and less customization (Impulse Response). Full disclosure: I've got an Amplifire. Using it primarily as an amp replacement. I looked at the HD500X. Just didn't care for it, but others certainly do.

***** cool stuff, thank you for the info. i know line 6 not supporting 3rd party impulse makes a difference
@fugeszabolcs8 жыл бұрын
+thevisi0nary Honestly I haven't tried one, but it uses the same chip as AxeFX. It is more powerful than HD500x has, so technically it should sound better. The hole concept of the pedal was to create something high end, still cheap, and easy to use. So I would recommend this over Line6.
