Such bizarre timing. Last week, I watched (unprompted, mind you) the Hudsucker Proxy for the first time ever and loved it. I remember when it was originally released and had known that it had to do with SPOILER ALERT... ... hula hoops, but had no idea that it was a spoiler.😅 Now this video exists. Pretty neat!

The supposed Darkman show was called Dark Avenger and aired on CBS in October 1990. I jave never found consistent info on it. Only speculation.

The unaired pilot is watchable on KZbin and it's not called "Dark Avenger," it's called "Darkman." That said, "Dark Avenger" is also watchable on KZbin.

2 movies I think are similar are X-men (2000) and G.i.joe the rise of Cobra. I'll give you the first 2 similarities and hope you run with it. Both movies begin with a similar title "sometime in the near future" and both films use outsiders to introduce and explain already established organizations within their respective mythos. The omen n charlie n the chocolate factory? Ur reaching. The main difference is one is the manifestation of the devil and is responsible for deaths, the other is a poor kid who luckily wins a ticket. The accidents in ccf the kids endure are from their own actuon and charlie is not destined for greatness and neither is damien hes just evil incarnate. In fact my opinion is this whole video is overreaching seeing a relationship that is not there. There are always common factors when u look at things broadly.
