There's not a single 80's hair band today that can match Stryper in terms of quality output after all these years. I mean, they just keep ascending, not resting on past successes, and have not only kept their sound, but have dramatically improved it, rather than degrading like so many other 80's bands. They are truly in a class by themselves now, and deserve a place in the Rock and Roll HOF along with the Heavy Metal HOF induction.

I've always loved metal. I am a new Christian, I was baptized about a month ago. This was the first Stryper song I listened to. This music has changed my life completely. The energy, combined with the scripture (Isaiah 53:5) they have chosen as their motto, has helped me truly understand the suffering Jesus went to as he sacrificed himself for us. Before this, I still struggled with truly putting my faith in Jesus as I am a scientifically/analytically oriented person. But the energy of this music me helped me truly understand his pain and suffering, ultimately leading to me repenting, giving myself up and offering myself as a loyal servant to our lord and savior, and praying in tongues for the first time. Those high pitched multi-octave screams (0:15) shake me to the very core of my soul. This level of energy, in the purpose of exalting Jesus Christ, is a harmonic composition which in tandem with the word of God leads to the plasmification and deliverance of my soul. Unique, exceptional, wonderful. Thank you Stryper. Thank you Michael Sweet. God bless you all.
