To be honest, I don't know whether the will be ninja v 2 or vi 😁 I highly doubt it though considering they have just released lot of add ons. As for your second question, no it won't. It will only go up to 1080p @60fps on the z6.

Did the WD drive fit on the Ninja V without sticking out? Or does it fit flush?

Unfortunately it sticks out unless you remove the drive and put it in custom 3d printed case. To be honest, it's not bad as the hdmi cable sticks out on the same side.

@@anncarreon7574 unfortunately my nikon z6 only records up to 4k@30p but I don't think it'll be a problem considering it's supported by atomos as you can see from the link.

According to Atomos’ compatibility chart, it seems the only thing the Western Digital 500 GB SSD is missing, when comparing to the Angelbird AtomX SSDmini, is that the Angelbird supports Secure Erase and WD does not. Does anyone know of any advantages the Angelbird has over the WD? And, has anyone experienced any issues with the WD? As for the WD being longer, hence extending beyond the body of the device, isn’t an issue for me, I don’t think. Has anyone tried the WD 1TB and found any issues? Atomos’ compatibility chart says it doesn’t support: ProRes RAW HQ / ProRes 422 HQ / DHxHR HQX up to 6k p30, 4k P60, 2k 240fps, 4k DCI p60, 2k240 fos and DHxHR 5x ISO 1080 p60.

Hi, thanks for the comment. If you check my more recent video, you will have seen the actual size of the ssd is very small. I guess what I'm trying to say is that, I've used this particular ssd for so long and it's proven to be very reliable. But then again, if you are planning to use it for particularly important shoot and have the budget, atomx seems like a no brainer.

I also wanted to know what the issue is with the WD 1TB not being compatible. In fact, I saw your other video and noticed you're using the WD 1TB, are you unable to get ProRes RAW HQ / ProRes 422 HQ / DHxHR HQX up to 6k p30, 4k P60, 2k 240fps, 4k DCI p60, 2k240 fos and DHxHR 5x ISO 1080 p60. I plan to use the Atomos Ninja V in a camera car. Can anyone tell me that it can record in RAW with a 5 meter HDMI cable? A quality cable, of course.

I can't answer you to be honest as I haven't got such a long cable to try. The cable will need to be hdmi 2.1 for the high frame rates to work though. Looking at amazon, you should be able to get one for under £20.
