Can't say what he did, but I can say that my Walksnail Pro cam sits in the notch just over the nose cone without any of the cone in view. Just stuck it up there with hot glue.

This is awesome!! What transmitter/receiver are you using with the DJI 03 Air Unit? Crossfire? ELRS? I'm looking to buy one of these and i'm looking for something with great range like this. Do you think having the DJI remote controller on the same signal and i guess would be using up some bandwidth, that you could get better video and TX range with an external RX setup? Or would the video cut out at that point anyway and it's just nice to have that solid TX Transmission connection for RTH or getting it back in control once video returns... Im basically debating on whether to go with all dji (03 air unit, goggles 2, remote controller 2) or the 03 air unit and a crossfire or possibly ELRS, haven't looked in that yet. That way buying new drones in the future will be compatible with the non dji remote controller if they didn't have a dji air unit or had an external rx setup.. I do have a Frsky Q7S Transmitter for some analog fpv drones i have already.

Or does crossfire tx/rx also carry the digital video signal as well? Honestly to be able to get to 23km’s, so at least 20km from the dji 03 air unit itself. That’s probably plenty for most setups, including mine lol. So have you ever tested it like this with the DJI RC2? Not with crossfire..

All this stuff is trackable due to the TOS of DJI products. DJI is selling the backend hardware to municipalities that will alllow them to pull the user ID right off the frequency of the unit when in flight. They also know the precise location the pilot is located, in real time. Very soon, we're going to see someone be made an example.

This doesn't make sense...your o3 air unit doesn't have your personal data. It's not connected to the internet, it doesn't know who you are. It's not like the store that sells it to you delivers all your personal info to DJI to be linked with the serial or something, don't be ridiculous... They also cannot know the location of the pilot. How would they know that? There is no GPS in the goggles. People are so weird about this stuff. DJI is not an "evil" company. Obviously they will comply with the law, but they actually advocated firmly against RemoteID during the comment period, you can actually look up their commentary to the FAA. Learn what the actual law is. Our hobby drones do not need pilot location. Let's be honest about what is actually going on here, and what isn't.
