I need to tighten up the belt on mine where the laser head mounts to, I think the y-axis? You mentioned in your video you had to do the same. How did you tighten it up?

Hey I like the review I have a question does it work with metal aluminium and steel?

If you coat the metal first it might. This is a 5w laser so you might be better off with something a little more powerful

Hi good afternoon froM Gibraltar i have Atomstck p7 m30 do i need an f30 air assist for this laser because it doesn't seem to cut even 2.5 mm ply @ 90% power with 40 pass what is I'm doing wrong I've tired light burn and LaserGRBL

10 Passes on the acrylic??? I have identical unit and cut 3mm (1/8") black acrylic in 3 passes (1mm/sec @ 95% power). Nice clean cut with polished edge.

the hardest part you didnt spend any time on which is how to get your machine hooked up to the software!!? i no one has how they actually get the machine to be found by your computer the link they have for macs doesnt even work..

When I plug it in windows assigns a com port automatically. I then just pic that from the list in the software. I'm not a Mac user so I have no idea about how to connect using one
