Before you cut any more vinyl/PVC material, please look up the dangers involved with it.

Neat stuff! I worked for a company that manufactured surgical devices and we purchased a laser etcher for adding serial numbers etched in the metal for traceability for certain devices. I'm sure this was a whole lot friendlier to work with ( I had more hair before I had to set it up, and learn it).

I looked at those for circuit board serialization years ago but at the time they didn't meet mil standard requirements. We also had laser machines for cutting bonding material and drilling tiny holes in boards but they were slow compared to mechanical tools. It's fascinating technology for sure!

I am not an artist but that is a very cool piece of equipment. A couple of minutes into the video I remembered your wife is an artist. I am curious what talents she could lend to other similar videos. Maybe a whole new channel!

Hi Rob, Liked the demo video. As you mentioned, just need more practice to nail down power levels for the varied materials. You and the family stay safe. 73 WJ3U
