Ah, The Blade Master - or, as I call it, the one where we wonder how much O'Keefe we can handle. Turns out it was miles. Apparently, the Dark Corners Science Advisers also wondered how Ator managed to do some arc welding on some aluminium frames while stretching old deer skins, as did Tom Servo. As to why he was flying over Mad King Ludwig's castle, all I can say is "Broadsword calling Danny Boy..."

Ahhh, this brings back great memories. Back in junior high, my friends and I would rent this movie repeatedly to make fun of it. A full decade later, while flipping channels, I came across the blademaster playing and decided to give it a nostalgia watch. Imagine my bafflement when some guy and two robots started making fun of it. My introduction to the existence of MST3K was going in completely blind to them making fun of the same movie I had grown up making fun of. They even used many of the same jokes we had used years earlier. I maintain that this is one of the best so bad its funny movies out there.

Fantasy movie anachronisms? It's a weird thing to get hung up on, but I hate Ori's slingshot in Jackson's Hobbit trilogy. Slingshots of that type weren't possible before Charles Goodyear's invention of vulcanized rubber... in 1839. For contrast, the first modern hang glider was built in 1853, but Da Vinci was designing gliders in the late 15th century. Also, this may be the first Bad Review for which I saw the film *before* the review.

You outdid yourself with this review. LOL for much of it. Soon after hang gliders became popular, movie makers got the idea of primitive beings being able to make hang gliders. Yor, who had a similar problem, at the very least did the BADASS thing, and shot a giant bat from the sky with a bow and arrow, and them he used the bat's body as a hang glider!! TOTAL BADASS!!! And he did it ALL with that kicking Queen Wannabe song playing, "YOR'S WORLD HE'S THE MAN!!!". Ator, on the other hand clearly went to Sports Authority or something like that and had this gentle sailboat on a calm sea music playing. Lame ass. Ator... is a lame ass. Yor could kick his butt seven days to Sunday and his theme music would make it count! Oh... and Yor doesn't obsess with sleeping with his sister like Ator does too. If Ator and Yor ever met in battle, it would probably end with Yor giving Ator an atomic wedgie and locking him in a locker. "This is YOR'S WORLD!!! HE'S THE MAN!!!"
