@@chickendinner5572 yea I threw the A6 in my project car which is a 1992 Honda Accord Coupe. It’s nice but I definitely NEED the S8 for the gesture controls and speed. The A6 proves a little difficult to use and slow to respond, or really not as fast as I’d like but gets the job done for now. I also hardly drive the accord so no need for an immediate upgrade just yet.

Lol it's been a good unit overall. 3 times over a couple years is pretty good. Cliff's factory head unit has freezed more in his 14 silverado haha. We'll have the review up soon!

Installed my gen 2 SO about a week ago, so far, so good. Highly recommend! The Metra conversion harness I purchased didn't have the analog SWC pin for my car so I'll likely buy another harness just to pull a pin out to make a clean connection.

@@bobturla It's gen 2 premium. All four of them support AA and CP, wired. The higher pro and ultra also support wireless. If you plan to heavily use AA or CP, you should check out the F7 series which is less expensive.

Thinking if ordering one of these. I'm currently using the pumpkin android double din unit. My issue is the pumpkin radio is a larger size than a standard double din radio. So with this one, will I have to cut my double din dash kit to make it fit like the pumpkin android unit?? The dash kit is for standard double din radios like you'd find in stores.

I have a question. I wired up my S8 and everything works great. Only small issue I have is that at the lowest volume, it is still a little too loud. With the stock unit, I could set it to a volume level it to have it playing in the background and still be able to talk and hear the other person speaking, but right now it is just a little too loud. Is there something that I didn't wire correctly or is there a setting somewhere that I can configure to address this issue? Thank you!

Depends on the equipment your jeep has but most likely. Crutchfield is a good resource but the radio won't change it.

Yes I don't think there is any head unit that doesn't do that! It's ran on your accessorie power. So when you turn your car on It automatically turns on and when you turn off the car it turns off automatically. Have you seen a head unit not do that before?? If soo Im really curious!

I am having a hard time finding a android head unit, and or a bracket etc for the Wrangler JL's I got a new 2021 JLU and want to replace the stupid 5" one. The ONLY one that actually fits the space is siecane but would cost almost $500 (They charge $64 to ship) and you can't return it if you dont like it.

Was really hoping for a comparison video. I bought an A6 Pro and am a little underwhelmed at the moment mostly because the Bluetooth playback doesn’t seem very well integrated and that screen is recessed in like it’s a frickin crt.

I got the standard on my '15 Civic and it looks great. I didn't want anything big or flashy, but needed one that performed well, I wish it was an 8 inch... So far it has been fantastic! If you're familiar with Android, this thing will do anything. It's really snappy. Road trips have been great.

I just bought the Atoto S8 but I am having problems with the volume, which even in Volume 1 is exaggeratedly high that it is even impossible to talk. I have a Hyundai Santa Fe which comes with a factory amplifier. Could my problem be here? Any suggestions that you can give to the technician who installed the multimedia center for me?

I could definitely see a factory amplifier messing things up. I remember when I had my 2002 Maxima, things got more complicated if you had the upgraded sound system with the Bose amplifier. People would delete them I believe.

This was my first android head unit I. Liked it alot. There was a couple things that I didn't like about it. Like trying to type while driving to search something up on youtube or Netflix and the brightness. It works well other than that! I ended up rooting it and doing alot to it. I wanted extra features for my needs and ended up making my own windows10/android head uniit using raspberry pi 4. Running dual screens lol. I might give my atoto s8 away to a family member or friend 🤙
