In Example 4, you are going for 3750 lb of thrust, and then go down to find 1050 for ROC. I would go for 4000lb thrust as the question says or am I missing something?

Hi Grant! In the min 7:40 i dont understand how you arrive to for example 2609. Could you explain? Thanks for all you do

The TODR x 1.15 has to be less than the TODA. TODA = 3000. So we can invert the equation and say that the TODR has to be less than TODA/1.15. This means that TODR has to be less than 2608.69.... This gives us a number we can compare against easily when using the graph.

It is frustrating, the questions aren't perfect but you just have to use your judgement. Which answer is closest? Probably through best one to go for.

Hi Grant!! In the second example around 5:40, when you apply the slope factor that in this case is 4%, I do the calculations and I don’t get the same as you… 2230 x 0.96 = 2141 not 2145 and the same in the rest. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance!!

Yeah good point. One of the answers available in the question was 2145 which would be correct as it is most limiting. I have clearly just copied the answer across to the table because 2230 x 0.96 is 2141.
