That char sew is not that really good, just normal... If you wanna eat BBQ pork (char sew)... The actual popular one is right around same area without shop.. The one you having is one of the street food Dry noodles w/ BBQ pork. (still not the best..normal)

Another awesome vlog showing the modernity of KL skyline incorporated with the atmosphere of locals hanging out for morning breakfast at street hawkers or old school kopitiams..and excellent video on young to elderly locals running their stalls, not overcharging customers to make honest living while still providing traditional meals..even in rural places in Malaysia, similar food can cost much more ..great respect to those hawkers that still keep prices affordable ..excellent cinematography and capturing the ambience of life in Pudu area...your shirt looks more comfortable and very nice as compared to some previous vlogs which looks very uncomfortable in sunny hot and humid Malaysia..

The noodle you ate in the morning is called wantan mee. Wantan is actually the name of the dumpling in the soup. Mee is noodle in Chinese. The pork served with the noodle is BBQ pork called char xiu which is similar to what you ate in second meal. Char xiu is popular roast meat with sweet source mixture of honey and soya sauce. It is popular in Asian country especially Hong Kong and Japan..

The noodle dish, if I recall correctly, is the wantan noodle and the reddish meat is known as char siew pork... the other meat is minced pork. The wantan is the dumplings in the clear soup accompanying the noodle dish. Pudu is predominantly a Chinese area so you get mostly Chinese kopitiams there. Of course there are also some mamak restaurants as well. If you want to try Malay food, head over to Kampung Baru. Take the monorail to Medan station.

Seats are not removed due to the sun, they illegally use pavement of the business next door that opens at 9 in the morning, cheeky, but very Asian, your opening editing skills have improved so much in the last 3 months. люблю для Светла́на и Виктор :))

Normal wanton noodle comes with char siew pork n pork dumplings soup , unless u ask for Sio Kau soup with your Wanton noodles. Your 2nd meal is crispy pork n Char siew bbq pork wiith rice. Cheers

You are so lucky, you went to one of the best wan tan mee in KL. Coincidentally, just a stone throw away from D'Majestic. Coconut for RM4 is cheap. You stayed at the correct place with food all around. It is a rundown area, not as posh as KL, most tourist missed this Pudu area. How about trying hokkien mee, the very unappetising looking noodles, black and dark in colour. The best around that area, cross the Pudu road from D'Majestic, walk towards Pudu Jail/KL, keep walking for 300 meters. The stall opens at 9pm. One of my favourite hokkien mee.

That's wonton noodles (wantan mee) you ordered. The plate of noodles comes with minced pork, choi sum(spring green), char siu(barbeque pork) and the bowl of soup has wontons; if you order Sui kau水餃(prawn dumpling)(but the Malaysian/Singaporean version is made of pork), it will be bigger in size with a lot more filling. Traditionally, wonton in wonton noodles in Guangdong (canton) China and Hong Kong are made of minced pork and prawn filling and the soup is made of flatfish/flounder powder, lots of pork bones, prawn shells, jinhua ham (Chinese ham) and rock sugar. Somehow the full recipe and the complete skill to make the dish have not been passed on properly to Chinese descendants in Malaysia and Singapore, maybe because of the distance between China and the two countries, during the Qing dynasty, it would take several months to travel from China to Malaysia/Singapore by ship.
