Would a 14-day Zio XT be a mobile wireless heart monitor a doctor would prescribe to diagnose AFIB (abnormal arrythmias)?

Is there a tablet you can have when you go into AF and travelling? My husband recently went into afib when we were going to go on holidays so had to go to hospital instead of airport. What is usually recommended? We were told we could go but he didn’t want to travel which is understandable. What is recommended?

Have you heard about the new ablation procedure? Pulse field ablation. It is not thermal, takes less time to do, and has been approved by the FDA earlier this year. They have had good success in Europe where they have been doing it for a year or so. My electrophysiologist said I am a good candidate for it because i experience paroxysmal afib.

She literally spoke about that in the video lol

Ok. Here’s where I’m confused. I’m on the meds and feel like it’s controlled but my dr says I could still have AFIB so should consider ablation Here she says if it’s controlled by meds you shouldn’t need a procedure? I’m just confused Shouldn’t I need to wear a heart monitor for a good length of time to see if I’m still in AFIB on the meds before I do ablation?
