One of my favorite LN/Anime is The Kings Avatar, which was written around 2016-7, and its surreal how fiction turns into reality. 3 time world champion, his team in a declining slump, rebuilds a new team full of rookies and charges to the championship over the course of 2 years. Winning nearly a decade after starting his career. Even includes a period right before the championship where the MC needs to rest.

I think the reason that there isn't as a longevity in esports compared to sports is cause esports change so quick. The meta changes so quick and you gotta stay with it constantly. It's not the reflexes but the mental strenght to let go of things that were working and adapt to the new scene.

THATS CRAZYYY!!!! even tho he flashed over the initial cone the ult wasnt static back then and you can see a secondary cone after he flashes on the slomo....
