Man, the chat during South of Midnight was straight up cancer. I know every one of those chatters watched and liked Spider-Verse, but when a game without a pre-existing IP they already loved as kids does it, it's bad, apparently. It didn't hurt your eyes then, and it doesn't hurt them now! Especially since the game switches to high-frame rate animations during actual gameplay, the devs make it real easy for you!! I was personally disappointed they didn't keep the stylised animations during gameplay, but I guess my eyes are just built different (and then I saw some complaining about "diversity"?? shut the hell up)

It's really weird because they seemed to like Mixtape (the game that looked a bit Life is Strange), which has a similar low framerate style and even looks like has it during gameplay. Maybe it's the fact that South of Midnight is slightly more realistic? I couldn't say, I thought both games looked lovely!

I find it interesting when people criticize xbox and say it isnt making money but from what is publicly known awhile back gamepass had 34 million subs which assuming everyone has the lowest tier at 10 dollars a month that's 4 billion dollars yearly from gamepass alone so I dont get where the "xbox isnt making any money" comes in because 4 billion dollars give or take every year is very very good + game sales in general like a lot of people of course have gamepass as a free trial not everyone is paying for it but since the 34 million thing is old and with all the new stuff its probably around 45+ million people subbed now and ofc gamepass has different tiers too so xbox is probably making around 3-8 billion dollars give or take yearly from gamepass alone so pretty sure xbox is making more then enough money unless I'm missing something

Yes these copied the movie series Indians jones and became the unofficial game versions of that sort of adventure story which doesn’t have any bearing on this argument either way and I didn’t even remotely claim the opposite of?! 2. Both of these games are 3rd person for a very simple reason: it’s the best way to play an adventure game like this. It doesn’t make sense to hide player actions and animations by putting the camera in first person regardless of what the studio has done before or is good at. It’s just a lot less playable and by necessity limits the potential of the game 3. Clear strawman argument. How would you know how people would react? And why does it matter even if they did say it’s trying to be like uncharted? Any Indiana Jones Game was always going to be and should always have been like uncharted because uncharted is the peak adventure game series. @@godlyvex5543you do realize a lot of these projects weren't triple-A at the start and then got funds after being acquired? Once it goes fully triple-A from the get-go, then it will turn soulless it's not an immediate change. It's the exact same with Sony and most of the huge corps, sometimes we get lucky and have passionate games that started before acquisitions and after getting the money they put it all into the project, and then a lot of the time it gets worse slowly.
