SCS's sound engineer does it for the salary and annual bonus. Zee does it for love and passion. That explains it. It would be nice if the sound engineer has some love and passion too, not just there for just the salary at the end of the month. This is the best ATS sound mod I have ever heard.

Interesting thing I heard about the C-16. Apparently the Camshafts that were in the C-16 from the factory would fail prematurely unless you were constantly hauling heavy. There was a rig that was in the Truck show scene in the early 2000's known as Peterod. Peterod, according to the Cat scale collector card (not related to Caterpillar) that I have, Peterod had a C-16 but I heard a story from someone I know that Peterod had the heads and the ECM of a C-18. It too was pushing 800 HP. Peterod eventually dropped off the face of the earth but I've heard rumors it was sold overseas. I'm not sure where though or if this is even true.

Whoever told that about the cams doesn't k ow what there talking about now running one and never really working it hard like idling and only going to truck shows over time could cause the cylinders to glaze over and cause oil use but will not hurt the cams

Ohhh Zeemods you keep out doing yourself with every Sound Mod. I keep wondering why SCS doesn't just put you incharge of the Sound Designs cause bro you're doing a Great Job. Recently got the Mack R pack and everytime I drive it brings back memories of my Work Experiences with Mack Trucks.

Hi all and hallo zeemod. i hope somebody can help me. i bought Zeemods the sound pack Cat c16 and i want to add it to the default kenworth w900 in ats i have watched the videos a million times and stil i dont understand how you add the def files to be a mod or the get it to a scs. It’s an engine pack so no it doesn’t include other sounds. If you want retarder and other sounds you need to have: zeemods.sellfy.store/p/3xx-interior-effect-sound-pack/ And/Or zeemods.sellfy.store/p/w9-interior-effect-sound-pack/

purchased this sound mod today. Engine sound is fantastic, but bass/reverb is unbearable. It needs to be toned down. Rattles the speakers/headphones too much. Makes it sound too distorted.

@@jakemorrison482 thanks. Just purchased the C15 and it is fine, but I did do some volume adjustments. Haven’t run the Pete with c16 since I adjusted the volumes. Will give it a go.

@@demon2barber I turned off bass boost in Logitech settings. I am using the G933? headphones. Some number like that. Zeemod has posted an update to the sound files. The engines sounds are no longer distorted, but like you, does not sound quite the same as the video. I’ve also found since the C15 update the engine sound is much milder than what it was prior to this last update. Zeemod works hard on these to bring them to us. Our own quality of playback means, sound card, onboard sound, headphones etc, most likely has a lot to do with the differences we are hearing. I’m getting older, perhaps my ears are too. Lol

Thanks for the update. I'll make sure I've got the latest files. Love Zeemods work and on the basis all the other packs sound amazing I agree, it must be down to local hardware / settings. Or maybe like you, just something else giving up as you pass 50 😁
