ZEEMODS Cummins N14 5" and 8" comparison! Including drive by JAKE :) - American Truck Simulator

Today we made an comparison video of the Cummins N14 5" and 8"(NOTE 8" is not updated yet) both the Pittsburgh Power 800E with an 13 speeds! We doing a few startups windows open/closed, outside. Pull up in/outside, pull up with a 63934 LB load of wood! And a jakebrake drive by :) Truck used is the K100E from Overfloater + ratrO Development addon pack, but his page is down for some reason? Anyway enjoy!

Thank you. I was undecided on which one to get. Fantastic video helped me decided...loved the 8" but will wait until it's updated. In the meantime the 5" will sound just fine in my Classic XL heavy hauler. Nice work by the way.

I dont run a lot of mods because I just dont need to but zeemod is top notch.

Yeah zeemods and slav jerry are mostly the only engine mods i run with.. and rarely other mod engines.. zeemods for the clear sounds and slav jerry for the raw sounds.. both amazing sound moddersa

The original cummins n14 8 inch he released on steam was a real window rattler, but when he released it as the paid version I believe the jake sounds got dampened like they are still now. I heard it was to do with the updated scs software, didnt sound as intended, not much he could do about is apparently

for be 5" is much better since it's G4 and fixed problem from 8" but still not so accurate for american trucks since it's recorded from ERF EC14 which is european and different exhaust system

Ah thats the: Pivotable cabin roof camera of steam bro.. not all trucks work.. and if they work not all are un the middle but other then that it is a good mod.. you can look arround aswell!

Why they need tons of work? I know the 8 inch needs to be updated to g4 but still i like them both.. never heard them in real life so yeah cant say annything about that tho!

I wouldn't say these are the "least impressive" of all his sound mods. I use the Signature 600 currently, and have used the older N14. I think the 5 inch exhaust on this mod sounds better, at least from my American sound point of view. I really wish Zeemods could sample American spec'd trucks.

@@D_in_DC He does sample American trucks? Sure Zeemod is based in the UK but that doesn't mean imported trucks sound any different

@@anhkietduongdo vehicles imported to the UK have to meet UK emission standards, which are generally not as aggressive as the US. Generally, that means that trucks in the two countries sound, at least somewhat, different. Emissions testing in each country is also different.

Don’t know what he was think recording a n14 European truck. it does not fit the American trucks don’t know how y’all think this sounds good it’s horrendous especially in high rpm

Well for me it is just i like the sohnd or not lol.. it is not really compareable for me since we dont got american trucks here in holland.. so i have nu clue what sounds realistic and what not😁
