@@Gg-jq7ht Yes, apparently as much as any other but I meant fame after life as with many others that are still often played and listened to. Of course, what really matters for the person himself is appreciation in his life, and it seems he received that. Thanks for pointing it out.

I enjoy listening to this composer's organ, choral, and instrumental music - and indeed include some of his organ pieces in my Sunday morning repetoire.. The latter have the characteristic of being devotional without being unduly sentimental, also enjoyable to both player and listener. Complements the atmosphere of the Gothic revival, also giving a feeling of peace and Otherworldliness that can transcend this world, whatsoever one believes in or not in terms of creeds etc.
