Your comment is much appreciated!! - I already run a Premiere pro KZbin channel but when I started using DaVinci I was so frustrated with the lack of short concise tutorials which led me to create this second channel :)

Thank you!! For some reason when I look up these tutorials all I see are 4-8 min long explanations that seem needlessly long so the comment is appreciated! :)

Your tutorials are solid .. is there a way to do this with a video in top video instead of a image .. like if I wanted to add a video vfx on moving object
@davincimadesimple9 ай бұрын
Yes I believe you can however be advised that the rendering time for such an effect would probably be very long (hours on a decent computer)

Do you have to increase the number of points if the area is bigger or is it an absolute 150?
@davincimadesimple10 ай бұрын
Increasing the number of points merely makes the effect move with a texture better - if you have fewer points your logo/icon/object will start to look less realistic, the only downside to more points is longer rendering time but there is a limit to how much a bigger number improves the quality - i just use 150 because it seems to be a good mix of quality and render time but you can try your own!

I do believe this will work with a video however the rendering time on such an effect would be very long

Would you use this technique to say, put a hat on a person? Actually, what I want to do is, create a very short video where there are multiple hats that instantly change on the person. How would that be accomplished in DaVinci?

Its a little complicated to explain in a comment reply - I will consider adding this in a future tutorial!
