Love this video for so many reasons…and, one of those is the return of the Big Mac index (and the transport info). Though primarily I loved that it brought back memories of my first trip to Europe - as a 15 year old visiting from Texas, walking on the beach at Oostende eating a delicious waffle. Thanks also for including information on the violent history associated with colonialism and chocolate. We can still love chocolate - even while telling the truth about the past. Oh, and Alex - I also use my middle name, so my luggage tags always start people wondering what the “L” stands for…let the “I” be a mystery! Your videos are all wonderful. I like the ones without the standard format, just as much as the ones with the index! Well done to you and Greg.

I was lucky enough, with help from the US Army, to grow up in Belgium. I have been in love with Brussels since I 8. The airport is actually named Zaventam not just Brussels. A Belgian company has actually owned "The King of Beers" for a decade. So yes this Bud is Belgian now. If you go do yourself a favor and go to the coast and have Mussels in White Wine with Frites in some local Seafood Shack. You can think me later. Belgium is like Switzerland it doesn't have to tell you it's great you will just have to find it out for yourself. Belgium is like the person you never thought you would fall in love with, but who changes your entire life forever once you do.

@@attachetravel you know what, I really hesitate on buying great hand luggage because each airline has different luggage size restrictions, so it makes it really difficult.
@GrantMcWilliams2 жыл бұрын
@@stephenrowe4113 Carry On is always within on inch since it's the airplane manufacturers that build the overhead bins. However, weight can vary by a couple of kg for carry on which is up to the airlines. I shoot for between 8-10 kg and have only had to check my bag once (Austrian Air) due to being over. Austrian insisted on weighing my carry on and my day bag together which pretty much spoiled the trick of temporarily putting the heaviest stuff in my day bag. The problem with the Fredrik luggage isn't so much the price (my current Victorinox has lasted me 18 years, I can spread the cost) but that it weights 3.5 kg with nothing in it. That means after I put my laptop with charger and my very small camera setup in it I have enough allowable weight left for socks. :-)

12:15, "cards only" is simply illegal in the Eurozone. Some pubs, restaurants and shops ignore the law but it's an EU rule: it's simply illegal to refuse euro coins or notes in the Eurozone and I never cringe if they claim to refuse my cash. No one is above the law.
