This is the most important spiritual lesson I've seen on your wonderful channel - especially for the relatively "aware" people who watch this channel. We are all subject to the spiritual ego trap, more so than others.

The Ego has it’s purpose and is important to be there. In my opinion The I am has a multitude of sides to it. In general I am the soul, the light, the observer who is also the ego meaning the persona I created from a multitude of factors who and here comes the important part is the individuality of the physical plane. The key is not to be nobody. In that case I would not have incarnated here. The purpose of physical reality is many but I would say the most important factors is to remember that the persona or ego is an extension of your true self which is here to act out his individual path in the individual ego or role like an actor to act on your passion. Plus to remember who you really are. The key in my opinion is once more balance. Allowing the ego to grow and change on the physical plane while also understanding that because it’s an extension of you it’s not bound or fixated. To understand it’s variable and there to extend on the aspects you prefer. The ego character chosen is capable of individuality which is important. The path is understanding and balancing. To know you are playing a role and to be allowed to act as such but to know that it’s variable due to the basis understanding of the real you or us. If we all detatched completely from the individual ego we would have very little possibilities of individuality in acting on passion. Through the persona you create for yourself as an extension you can allow yourself to enjoy a multitude of facets in this life without being so detached from it to only live in a monk state. Being able to say I don’t need external stuff is perfect but the goal is to incorporate the external to your passion not your ego needs. Understanding and balancing. Atatching for the moment necessary and detatching as passion flows somewhere new. Creating comfort zones for the ego to experience and leaving it behind one a new direction is appearing. Go with the flow. Allow yourself to experience as the soul and the ego. The process of seeing both dark and light in a multitude and then choosing your preference and acting on it to the best you can. Identification with the soul as the we is the important basis. From there everything is an extension used for your individual journey

So many channels, I think including this one, that talk about “chosen ones”. I think that’s ego posing as spirituality. We are all chosen, none of us are on a special path. There’s growth and not growth. That said, I love basically everything this channel puts out.

Found this one particularly revealing. I was actually feeling a little bit discouraged to embrace my compassion for others under this idea of "awakened ones do not try to awaken others" but that's ego-driven. I liked the part when you mention that, whenever we're in the position of judge others, we shall first ask ourselves if we are being kind, comprehensive, compassionate towards them. No judgement can arise from true compassion. As Baba Ram Dass once shared, the best way to help others enlighten too is to be an environment for them that allows them to do so.

Peaceful is the one who is not concerned with having more or less. Unbound by name and fame he is free from sorrow from the world and mostly from himself, Rumi Ps or his ego mostly but I concur that the ego is an important part of one's psychology, its needed from time to time. I died once but came back after a wonderful experience, then spent the rest of the night in hospital trying to get back. I have a much better idea of what I am and it isn't this meat body!!! And if anything my ego feels deeply sorrowful for most people when helping them, and hearing their horrible beaten down by life stories, and then unfortunately most develope more fear and terror believing that they are this and are now scared of leaving their less than positive lifes. Scared to live and Scared to die! Now what a number society religion etc etc has done to their beings or what's left of their beings. Kind Regards

Yes! Spoken like a man. We don’t have to be soft to follow our spirits path, knowing we can do what needs to be done and when for the greater good is made easier when we have the tools know how to use them in the hope that we don’t have to. It’s like crossing a bridge that has a troll on it…do we stop our journey or deal with the troll. If we feel like we have a spiritual purpose we don’t cower we fight.

Jesus give me strength I seem to bear the weight of the world on my shoulders as a single mom, I often face challenges that can seem insurmountable especially with raising two children with special needs. I won’t give up but Lord I’m so discouraged. I’m trying to balance everything but Lord I’m struggling to make ends meet, to pay bills, and to put food on the table for my children.
