Attack Helicopter, Homing Missile & Parachute Guide | Rust Tutorial

This may break the game, or it may not. In its current form, the attack heli and missile launcher are crazy powerful and you will need to know how to use them to stay ahead. In this video, I will cover everything about the attack heli, homing missile launcher and parachute to help you out.

⚠Updates & Notes⚠ • The launch site jump has been semi-patched. You will be instantly killed after you land on the roof with a parachute. However, if you dismount before landing (Hold space bar so you fall out of the sky), you won't be killed.

Hello Everyone! Jfarr you are my very favourite Rust Tutorial and Stuff explainer, love ur calm and clear instructions! I Have one Big Question for the Everyone.... Since Heli decay 8 Hours Outside an 48 Hours while Inside... acutally its 2 Questions to it. Question 1: Does the Decay Time also apply to the Cars? Question 2: Does it have to be a complete House? Or is it maybe enough to have just a Stone Foundation for the Heli/Car and put 1 Side Wall with a Twig Roof/Floor? Yesterday i had 2 minis only on a Foundation, and one exploded after 2 Hours or something... but it was a 2x Server. Thanks for the Work and Passion :)

The parachute being level 2 locked makes sense, but I'm genuinely surprised (aghast even!) that the homing missile rocket launcher isn't behind a Tier 3 workbench.

I have been able to park my attack helli in a garage door. Needs to be 1.5 walls high or it won't go in even though the door is only one anyway. 4 long 1 wide 1.5 high and it just fits

11:20 that already has been fixed by facepunch. You will hit the death/suicide trigger after you landed with parachute. Just check for yourself without godmode.

Ahh damn. Haha, was expecting something to have been changed as it was too easy to get the launch site's loot. Bit strange they went with this measure as it feels a bit botched.

I tested this locally without god mode and was able to still land on the roof safely. I was killed if I landed on the roof but if I dismounted before hitting the ground I survived every time.

@@torstrup97gaming25 i gave it a try yesterday and consistently was able to make it with just cutting off the parachute midair and landing without getting hit by samsite if it shoots at all. So nothing patched, it's just a stupid bug.

Not sure if it’s been said, but you can parachute down the wells/ buckets in caves. I’ve only done it once and it just opened in time before I hit the ground. Made for an easy raid though 😊

Zooming-in/aiming with the attack heli's gunner screen is done by clicking and holding the middlemouse/scroll button in and will not work (FOR WHATEVER FCKN REASON) if you have binded something under the "Ping" control in keybinds. I personally had to reset my binds to default just to fix this and even then, it's annoying to hold in the scroll button and hold left click to shoot a gun at the same time. I'm gonna have to make a macro action for my mouse... smfh facepunch

Wow, I seemed to try everything and nothing would zoom me in. I likely had this issue you mentioned. Hopefully the zooming key binds are cleaned up a bit.

You can’t beat nostalgia. To be fair I hear that about most game. Old DayZ, old Cod, old Madden, old GTA was better then the new stuff they have going on today. Not enough change and the game get stale and die out, too many changes and the game doesn’t have the same feel to it when you first started playing it.

the patch is called airborne yet if you fly 100m over the ground every kid in a 300m radius will hunt shoot you out of the air with the homing missiles

People will experiment with it for sure on all kinds of roles, but in the end I doubt you’ll be using all that scrap and burn through your low grade just to roam.

i mean if ur not good with the heli u will die either way, u got few chances to use flares and then u gotta dodge them and it isnt easy if ur not a good heli player u will die fast, and u can still get 1 tap ed by blotys ect, some big boys will probably have those rocket launchers if not they will just melt the heli with their 10 aks, tho for the monuments yes its op af.
