In his first season we mainly only won by the odd goal, we had a free run in the league Cup when he won it and granted he had a good result last season in the FA Cup final but that was only 3 decent performances in the whole season. Another being the in the League cup when we beat Crystal Palace only for them to beat us at Old Trafford 3 days later!! In the league we currently sit 12th with negative goal difference, the Europa League we are 21st. Also the squad is in a worse state than when he took over, that strike force is pathetic 😒

A draw away in Istanbul is a good result. A draw away in Porto is a good result. Our only bad result in the Europa so far is the draw at home to Twente. We should have won all three games but I'm baffled why people are losing their minds over this result. If we win our remaining home games and don't lose away, we'll end up near the top of the table. Playmaking is actually done on the sides of the pitch last few years. If you do it from the centre it's easier to get punished by counters. The sides stop quick breaks from the centre circle so it's more a defensive thing. City do it too but they create overloads for Haaland as their end goal... Zirkzee isn't even in the box for us lol

I hate how this is still put on the players by this dude. So virtually every player is now awful, and its nothing to do the manager, or is all on the entire frontline and NONE of them are improving? The coaching is really bad with and without the ball. We are just bad and poorly coached. The players look lost. You can see it in the press alone. It's a mess, and it's getting worse again. The only thing 100% the same across this mess is the manager, and that says enough for me as these are now his players.

I don’t buy this “there’s no goals in this team argument” Højlund is statistically one of the deadliest strikers in Europe. Rashford is a 30 goals a season winger (when played right). The latter having showed glimses of that this season, but is being “rotated” to accomodate a very wasteful Garnacho. And we have amad and Bruno to add to that. What we don’t have is a systematic way of creating good chances CONSISTENTLY, because the manager fails to setup the team in a way, that appeals to these players strenghts. We should be seeing signs of progress in a managers third season, and we are literally in our worst season in the premier league era. He has to go, unfortunately. “Who do you get in to replace him?” Literally somebody who can setup the team in a way that cater to these players strengths and keep everybody mildly happy, into the next season. Give it to Ruud, give it to Ole, somebody who isn’t stubborn and clueless..

I agree with this. The attack is so young for the most part and maybe the plan is to build these players up and hope that these young players become the players we think they can be. People expecting them to be finished articles is unrealistic. Alot of footballes don't even fulfill the potential they showed. So it's always going to be the case and risk when your building young team. Also some of these players need time to bed in fully as well as try to start working towards their full potential. It's like people are expecting young players to come in and be prime rooney by the 4th Match they have played.
