What they didnt mention was that it wasnt a lot of soldiers. It was 60 to 100 men. A company at most managed to terrify the germans into retreating.

I mean its amazing, 7000 strong and 60-100 men come at them, and the 7000 run, I think the guys in the back just ran because they saw the guys infront run from something, confused they just reacted on instinct to run as well, I mean if you saw over 1000 of your own guys run back your direction, I believe you wouldn't just stand there but also start running from whatever they are running from , Physiological influence

I've breathed in chlorine gas before (although no enough to actually cause any permanent damage). And let met tell you, it is something i wouldn't with on anyone except my worst legitimate enemy. That shit hurts in a way that can't be described. Needless to say the lesson learned was: don't mess around with pool shock unless you know what you're doing.

My bro accidentally breathed in mustard gas when he was younger (didn’t dilute the bleach enough when cleaning up after the dogs) he has/had asthma because of it (I’m unsure if he still has it he might but it’s not super bad)
