Oh hey, I forgot I got a special shoutout in this video, cool. Gotta say, it's still awesome form that you've got such a high quality guide to the mode here on KZbin. It really is a treat when you reach the point where even Eden Mode triggers autopilot brain, 999 skill points Our Hero is such a guilty pleasure of mine. Gotta say though, as fun as titan shifting is regardless, I think it's kind of a flaw in TR mode's design that once you super charge your characters, titan shifting generally becomes more of a slog. Cause once you've got your on foot stats shot through the roof, titans start feeling cumbersome to use. That you can literally zip across a battlefield in flat terrain faster with odm gear than with a titan is baffling design. And when you're all set up with maxed out gear, the intense gas use from that kind of movement simply doesn’t matter anymore. If nothing else, at least they're still very satisfying to use against a big ol clump of normal titans.

Yeah, at a certain point, Titan shifting just becomes more of a "Fun" thing to do. More often than not in TR, I'll just have Battle Alert up. If they ever make a new AOT game, I really hope they flesh out the Titan shifter combat.

question what’s the best way to get the perfect blades? and even that ultimate?, also is the best way to get skill points(without having done inferno or eden) doing the camaraderie with every character? also i loved the video 10/10 editing made me laugh

Best way to get Perfect Blades for me, is if you finished Story and are starting TR, is to get elimination bounty on your favorite character and play a mission that rewards you the required materials you need. Perfected Blade Ultimate is unlocked the easiest in Eden mode with Elimination Bounty, however if your blade is near perfect, on normal you should be good for the time being. The best way to get skill points is through Camaraderie. You can also get them through Golden Drops, but they’re Eden mode exclusive. I’m glad you enjoyed the video!

@@Kkasa The skill points you get from Camaraderie depends on the characters you leveled up Camaraderie with. For example: If Eren gets Skill Points from Camaraderie from Rico, it’ll only apply to Eren. You can find out what skill points you have for each character in the Camaraderie tab when you hit the menu button on the scouting mission map.

when i assign the necessary skills and stuff in tr mode on eden difficulty no matter what i never get golden drops. iv tried restarting, iv tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and nothing. any idea how to fix this? or is there something i’m doing wrong?

For Eden, most missions only give you Golden Drops only on the first playthrough of a level. There are other missions, however, that always give you them. When I go to farm for materials, I go to the "Outrider Op" mission. It should be on the left side of the board.

Custom Character (CC as I refer to it) doesn't have Awakening Points. The only way to level up their stats is by going to the training area in story mode. However, the rate at which you level up stats is abysmally low in the training ground, so the grind for it is much more intense/painful. You can still get skills for CC, but they can only be unlocked by maxing out Camaraderie with certain characters. If I make a custom character video, I can go over it better. All in all, it's just faster and easier to max out a canon character than it is to max out CC.
