The Perfected Gear Set is the most powerful set of the game! However, it's very expensive and it needs a lot of materials. That's why I'm going to show you some "shortcuts" to get this set ASAP. Also, I will show you how to get money fast and stuff!

Very good guide, you did a perfect job, but in my opinion the problem is the game itself. In order to get perfected gear, this game forces you to replay the same exact missions you already spent hours on, it quickly becomes repetitive (personally, I completed all story missions and survey missions in normal mode including all requests in 70-80 hours, and got S rank and dire subjugations for every mission) and it doesn't add anything fun or new at all, the harder difficulty is just frustrating because you need to farm materials for hours if you want to have a chance to beat True Attack Mode, then you have to do those missions over and over and you can't waste your time playing as characters like christa, hange or jean because they are no good in harder missions. If I want to simulate a challenge, I prefer playing with basic training equipment in normal mode in coop with friends online and we help each other when subjugating stronger titans.

I've been having a lot of fun in True Attack Mode. The Nightmare set may not be the best in the game, but that 1190 sharpness when the Nightmare Blade III is fortified to +99* lets me cut through titans like butter. And no, I won't play as Levi or Mikasa. I prefer playing as Eren and won't even bother with transforming into a titan. I'd like to *EARN* my S ranks, thank you. lol

Bullshit, Soldiers Dance is bullshit when you're not playing as eren, and even as Eren it's bullshit because she can kinda just kill you on a whim. And when you're anyone else Eren just dies as soon as you run out of stuff and you have to go away... The way annie moves, she might just spin like a fucking helicopter blade and it wouldn't be much worse. Nice challenge, just have someone who can kick a fly out of the air running at it from 100 meters

I've actually found a simple trick to get lots of Money. Just sell your *Titan Skin Fragments*. They're a very common material, which you can get from destroying Titan Limbs. I usually do a few Missions until I have 200+ Titan Skin Fragments, then I sell 100 of them, which in return gives me $10,000 each time.

I already have other types of perfect gear that have certain stats that surpass stats on the perfect gear, and i really don't like true attack mode cause its kinda bullshit difficult, but i do appreciate you providing these tips on perfect gear Section commander Hange. My best strategy for getting lots of materials and funds is to max out certain materials (999) so when you play missions that give those certain materials to you once you complete it, they will automatically be sold and you'll get a huge bonus in regiment funds. And also you should play as Sasha a lot obviously cause of her elimination bonus. Once you do this you will get a massive amount of funds and a pretty large number of materials which you are free to use to create your own perfect gear.

Black Heart you need to profit, you can't just expect to magically complete all the missions that simple... Grind and use up your materials (even if it's all your s rank materials) to upgrade your blade enough to at least put up a fight with the Titans and upgrade more if you feel the need. Once complete, it'll be easier for you to farm all your s rank materials again and so on. Until you've unlocked the perfected gear badaboom... You got yourself your perfected gear.... (Although it's entirely upto you, I'm just here to give you the best advice :) )

Well, like I said in the video, perfected gear set is the most poweful and balanced gear in the game, so if you get it early, it can save you time at the grinding. If you want to be more specific, just get the blade and you will be fine for the rest of the game.

You can get way more large titan crystals on the first time you meet the beasts titan in story mode. (Can't remember what the mission is called) I was being Sasha and the first time I got 27 the second time to make sure it's good. I got 30. Haven't tried again but I'm pretty sure you may get more large titan crystals

This game is divided into two parts: Attack mode an true attack mode. Booth modes have the same story missions and survey missions, but true Attack mode is the harder Version of the first one. Also, True Attack mode has all materials that you need to develop the perfected gear set. In order tho have sucess on this guide, you should complete these basic steps first... Step 1: Complete all story missions until "Chapter 3 - Episode 7: Soldiers Dance" mission on Attack Mode. From This mission, the survey Missions will be unlocked and you should to start level up your characters and corps fast. Step 2: While you are completing Survey missions try play as Sasha, Levi and Mikasa to increase their levels. These Characters will help you later in the game! Sasha: Let's talk about Sasha a bit She has 4 excellent abilities. Elimination Bonus increases the changes to get rare materials like Large Titan Crystal and Large Ultra-hardened Crystal. So, in the game, there are some excellent missions to farm all materials required to develop Perfect gear set fast. So now, I'm going to show tou which missions are and how many materials you will get... So Let's start with the Perfected Blade. "Perfect Blade: Perfected Blade needs S-grade Ultra-hard Steel, S-Grade Steel, Meteoric iron and Glowing Titan Crystal

I will advise you to try fortifying with legendary gear (purple gear) most of them give you a two digits boost which will make it faster for you to level up( star wise 99)

Nice guide! But I'd like to point out that for the Ultra High Quality Rare Metal strategy, it is arguably faster to just rush the boss in each of the three missions on City Area Search and Destroy. Assuming you already have the Perfected Blade at that point (Mine is at +30* right now), it takes roughly 5 minutes (plus around 3 for long load times) to get at least 8 metals with Levi. (I usually get 2 on mission one, 4 on mission 2 and another 2 on mission 3, sometimes even more) If you like, you can do the third mission on S rank to gain additional Rare Metals, but, unless it gives like, a consistent 5, the extra amount of time needed causes the Rare Metal per minute rate to be more efficient if you just rush all of the missions. That being said, this stupid Galery trophy is something I really hate Koei for... Edit: Correction: rushing everythign and skipping all ending screens left me with 4 mins per 8 Metals. That makes it way more efficient than going for the S rank at all times, unless you go for other materials along the way.

I wanna go for the 100% trophy. Do you recommend getting the perfected gear first. Or later ? I feel like, when I concentrate on perfected blade first, the other missions will be easier to do. And which character ? Of course everyone says Levi, but I really like Erwin. You start out with 3 gas tanks and can keep more items in general. He also fills his awakening bar really easy. Or Is Levi still better ? The biggest issue to me is resources.

Levi is better because he performs like 7 strikes in a row and he can kill abnormal titan faster. Mikasa has the same ability but she performs less strikes. About perfected gear, its pointless if you get these weapons later. I think the best way is to get the perfected blade before other gears. Keep in mind that perfected blade at level 99* along levi level 99 can kill everything in the battlefield, so you main issue will be the gas things.

By the way, getting perfected blade will not make the game more easy, it will be more manageable.

I agree with factor here. The blade is actually easiest to get (as the materials for it become available first in TAT). Once you have it and get it into the star-range, Levi becomes a beast of a character. Plus, with him you can use the blades until they break, then throw them mid-air (change them while targeting a titan part) for two extra hits!

I appreciate this guide. But what gear should I get and focus on before starting from the beginning of True Attack Mode? I know you get the best materials from True Attack Mode, but in order to get the materials, you need to at least be able to do some decent damage without spending 3-5 minutes on 1 body part when you first fight Titans. I'm talking about the gear needed and how much you need to fortify them before actually starting the stressful mode. I'd really appreciate it if you told me what is necessary so I will be able to get to your level in gear so I won't be stuck anymore. All and all great video for when people get stuck on finding certain materials, really appreciate it. Truly.

Well, like I said in the guide. I used Unircorn Horn III a lot of time. Also, Third-Generation Scabbard Mk III and Third-Generation Gear Mk III. Unicorn Horn comes from Rapier II, so you should unlock this blade first. Also, if you can buy a blade mutiple times, you can "fortify" any weapon. For example, I did this: I got Unicorn Horn, then I bought a lot of weak blades like first generation blade, this blades are very cheap, so I fortified the unicorn using this weak blades and my Unicon blade increases to level +70. Also every blade that I upgraded fully I used it to fortify Unicorn. The big problem with Unicorn is this blade is very short, so you will miss some attacks. Don't waste your money and materials to increase the level of the other equiments, I completed a lot of missions with Third-Generation Scabbard Mk III and Third-Generation Gear Mk III and I never upgrade them.

When farming for Ominous Crystals killing the beast titan is too big of a pain in the ass (because of the limited fire bombs), so I just cut the legs off and complete the mission. The extra 1 crystal isn't worth the time and effort.

Well, when you get the perfected blade, just "link" it to your previous blade. For example, you was playing with Rapier III +10* and you get the PB, just fortify the perfect blade using the Rapier III. Your PB will get level +10* automatically.

Griffin Superior U change your character in the main menu. U need to exit out where u are, go to the menu and press true attack mode. That is where u can change your character :)

Can Perfected Gear set reach +99 Fortification? I've Fortified my Perfect Blade to +34*, and no matter how many times I fortify it, it hasn't increased any more than that.

You could actually buy a Training blade, and buy othersTraining Blade to fortify it until +99. After this buy Anti-Hardening Blade to fortify the +99 Training Blade until +99*. This way will cost much less cuz Training Blade don't cost nothing to fortify unlike the Perfected Blade that costs 18900 each time. After have a Training Blade 99*, use it to fortify a Perfected Blade and it will have 99*. Very nice Video. I have just one question. How did you get your Unicorn Horn blade from Unicorn Horn II to Unicorn Horn III? Because to upgrade from II to III you need large titan crystal (at least I hope that's the name in English cause I am playing in a different language). But I can't seem to find any so I assume it is in True Attack Mode or the more challenging Survey Missions with the same difficulty as the True Attack Mode. That again would be strange, because you recommended the blade to begin the True Attack Mode :). So my question is how you got the material for it.

Well, to make the perfected gear set you will need Large Titan Crystal too. The best place is "Provide Relief to the Forward Town!" on Wall Perimeter Secure Area. This information is in the video.

Ah. Ok. I missed that ^^. Looks like I have to play those harder Survey Mission with a different blade than. Which blade do you recomment to do that? Just Unicorn Blade II? Edit: Your new video pretty much answered that question because you recommended a few blades. Thank you very much :D. And excuse my weird English. It is not my mothertongue.

I used unicorn blade II for TAM and Large titan cristal is a TAM material, so you will not able to upgrade the weapon until you play TAM and get some materials.

I just unlocked true attack mode. Do i have to play everything over again?? Survey missions ?? Requests?? And one more question how i can get the rest of requests? I need 4 more requests I tried play with all characters 💔

Yeah, you have to play all again because new materials will be available. This time, requests give you money and survey missions too. S rank and dire subjugation are not needed. Play from the "cadet building stage", not from the expedition mode stage. Every character is available at the cadet building stage. Play as Jean or switch between characters until the "?" mark shows up.
