The heroes never fail when it matters with the exception of Bakugo's kidnapping but the villains gained literally nothing from this. Nobody important ever dies and they only fail when it comes to normal school stuff. That means I'm much more invested in their practical exams, fight training and sports festival than I am with their actual hero work which has no tension at all once you're familiar with the formula. Also, what is the point of giving Deku's power percentages if 100% isn't even his maximum power. It means everytime he's losing he just goes beyond 100%, there's no defined limit.

Things like Todoroki overcoming his childhood trauma, Deku and Bakugo learning to work together, those are all done pretty well. Its just the actual heroes vs villains stuff that needs work For me its mainly just a fun feel good anime. Something I watch when I want to just lay back and watch crazy superhero shenanigans. Attack on Titan is the one I watch for the plot.

(manga spoilers) To those who are wondering why Connie's attitude towards Eren has started to change, it's because of Sasha. We all know Connie is kinda dumb, so he never really knew exactly what Eren's laugh meant. He only knew that he laughed after he found out she died. His head was down, and his hair was long, so Connie couldn't see him making an angry face. Sasha was so important to Connie, that after he lost her, he also lost himself. Normally, he wouldn't even think about kidnapping Falco and feeding him to his mom, especially if Sasha was there to stop him. He was so hurt that he lost Sasha, that he only came to understand Eren way too late. It's so sad. Connie lost his entire family, and also lost Sasha. He was broken. And irrational. And his mom's still alive albeit a titan. It hurts that many people hate him now. He's just as broken as everyone else.
